In the English countryside and rural communities it's very common for people to own shotguns. Chances are this guy was holding his perfectly legally and had the right licence.

Hey dude I'm the one that was recording, I didn't ever expect my video to blow up I didn't notice that my video made it into this one until just now. The guy was a homeless man that lived in there. We had other encounters outside of the tunnel with him.
