- It is a dance with many health benefits, particularly for women. Unlike asanas, it can be practised during menstruation as long as there is no discomfort. It can be danced up to the advanced stages of pregnancy, depending on the individual.
Benefits:
1. Creates strength, flexibility and endurance;
2. Increases longevity, keeping the body fit till 80 years of age;
3. Makes the mind strong and sharp;
4. Removes fears, hopelessness and hysteria;
5. Promotes self-expression and increases self-confidence;
6. Removes lethargy;
7. Cures insomnia;
8. Removes wrinkles, adding charm and shine to the face and skin;
9. Regulates bodily secretions;
10. Reduces unnecessary body fat and balances body weight;
11. Makes the spine flexible and joints supple;
12. Good for arthritis and gout;
13. Stimulates heart and circulatory system;
14. Good for liver, gallbladder and kidney troubles;
15. Good for gastric problems like dyspepsia, acidity, dysentery;
16. Helps in piles, hernia, gonorrhea, syphilis and urethra troubles;
17. Promotes regular menstruation, easy delivery and reduces childbirth pains.

I have learned upperbody movement and the lowerbody movement .
But when combine it I feel sort of unbalance .
