- Welcome to my latest video where I recap my time at Amelia Island 2023. In this video, I will be sharing my experiences at two exciting events: the RM Sotheby's Auction and the Ales & Overlands off-road show.
At the RM Sotheby's Auction, I had the opportunity to witness some of the world's most iconic and rare vehicles go under the hammer. From classic cars to modern supercars, there was something for everyone at this auction. I'll be sharing my thoughts on some of the standout vehicles and the overall atmosphere of the event.
Next, I headed over to the Ales & Overlands off-road show, where I saw some of the most impressive off-road vehicles and accessories on display. From rugged trucks to all-terrain vehicles, this event was a thrill for any off-road enthusiast. I'll be sharing some of the highlights from this show and my thoughts on the latest trends in the off-road industry.

That explains why it’s so much cooler.
@@JohnEngel haha yup, and it was also the final year of the 5th generation, I believe. I know the following year was the first year of the Car of Tomorrow that started off terrible and eventually became a very sturdy, safe car. I loved the 5th gens because the teams were able to do so much to offset the bodies and make them look funky depending on the track they went to.
whered you stay for the trip, also I love your house architecture lol you should do a video on the outside design.

@@JohnEngel can you get into the ritz or is it rented out by haggerty?
@@OhioPalmTrees I was able to get into the Ritz to see the auction.
@@JohnEngel are you able to actually stay there though? I know it may be a hefty price but everytime I look its way to close to the event and says sold out but I've been looking at going for years and wondered if haggerty rented up all the rooms. Apparently if you have a nice enough car I've heard they pay for your accommodations. So i figured it may be all booked up by show car owners.
@@OhioPalmTrees yes you can rent a room there. They just book up about a year in advance.
