Project Bike - RC51 - Part 9 - Riding the RC51!

This RC51 has come a long way since we first brought it home. At one point I questioned if it could really be saved, and I'm glad we took on the challenge. Underneath all that camo vinyl wrap and bed liner spray was a fire breathing monster begging for new life. It was an absolute pleasure restoring such an iconic superbike, and it is an experience I will never forget. Thank you to those that made it through the entire series, and I hope these videos may provide some help to those in the RC51 community!

One thing that I would recommend is putting oem style insignia on the tank, side fairings and tail (Honda, RC-51, 1000R). Great job on the build btw.

Awesome build, man. Glad that you brought another legendary bike back from the grave. I own a 2002 RC51 and I'll be keeping it for a very long time. Always puts a huge smile on my face. Too bad you live in Orlando, otherwise I'd say let's go for a ride! I'm in Pensacola though.

The previous owner gutted the can, so this exhaust certainly does not do the bike justice!
