    Here we have an entrepreneur, computer genius, the inventor of Siri ad other amazing inventions. He holds 30 patents and has numerous publications. His knowledge and wisdom is priceless. Hearing his process can change your life.
    He’s going to do a card trick, here at what looks like a Mormon gym.

    Fantastic trick, straight forward, not the foggiest how the magic was done!

    3:28 to skip to the magic. The talking goes on for 3 minutes and within CZcams universe, that's a long time. He could of added entertaining dialogue instead of explanations and all the maybes he kept saying. Awesome trick, boring dialogue.

    Is there a reference to this card effect?

    Good trick, really.
    As for the presentation, he reminded me of myself, for I can't tell a joke, for i remember only the punchline. So I invent some boring lead up, and nobody cares about the ending

    As a magician, I imagine a layman watching this and taking it serious, demanding all this BS from me. As if there werent enough hecklers already.

  • @arminpeter125
    @arminpeter125 Před 2 lety

    Performing for magicians, its a real gem of a routine. for laymen, I always feel like, this kind of presentation of pointing out the unfairness of other magicians damages the reputation of card tricks all together. its awkward enough showing card tricks...While it elevates your own trick, there are better ways to go about that. Example like Tamariz "neither blind nor stupid".

      No laypeople are ever watching this gang of geeks sitting in an obscure school gym as one does the least entertaining presentation of a card trick ever seen. Most laypeople will run at the merest suggestion that a magician is about to perform a card trick.

    He is too emphasizing Juan’s false solution from 3:05 all the way til the end. There’s no need. Look at the spectators, they look very confused and don’t know why you keep inducing their “doubtness” while they just want to sit and enjoy what’s going to happen.
    At the end, the whole routine is about teaching us how to figure out magic tricks. I can’t see anything else even the trick itself.

    I'm disappointed that he touched the last card before it was revealed (and even claimed at the same time that he hadn't touched the cards). That lowered the score in my mind by quite a bit.

    • @fhodgson
      @fhodgson Před 3 lety +7

      Can tell you no matter who touched that card last it would remain the QH. That's not where the magic happens. By the time he says go ahead and count down everything is done. He could leave the room and the result would be the same. Source - I do a version of this but his is infinitely better

      @@fhodgson doesn't change fact he said I haven't touched the cards, seconds after he touched the cards.

    Very good trick but lacks proper performance. The whole explanation is boring and far too long.

    • @tomw4435
      @tomw4435 Před 3 lety

      Yes. He's obviously a poor performer. He needs a lot of polish. But he's just as obviously a great card mechanic. That routine was miraculous. He should subscribe to Richard Turner's channel and watch everything he's done so far and take notes, Then watch them again.

    Good thing he has a "day job", although that was a great trick his patter and presentation needs a little work.
    And I'm sure he doesn't really care. LOL

    I dozed off somewhere, then got awaken by the clapping. Had to rewind to see what I missed. Too much talk and too less "magic"

  • @galkanftw
    @galkanftw Před 3 lety

    A shuffle or a cut doesn't do anything.Also when a hand leaves our view it just allows him to move the card chosen around and then put it back on top or bottom or to look at it before moving it back into the deck.When he began dropping cards,i would be like no give me the deck i'll put the card in and then the trick is done he will never get the card lol.

  • @arminpeter125
    @arminpeter125 Před 2 měsíci

    Good trick. This presentation is horrible. Like an old man hating on other magicians, exposing their methods, just to shine a brighter light on himself. And in no shape or form entertaining or original. Performing like thisfor magicians is borderline acceptable. For laypeopel here on youtube, its just shameful.

    Is magic real or not ?...Of course not..Its all tricks... Card tricks are now all the same, done in various ways. Thats why we see them performing to kids and groups of 50. A cheesiest business.
