    Hey Travis,
    You NEED to react to Queen's full 20-minute Live Aid set, it's been called the BEST performance in Rock music.
    It needs to be watched/reacted to all-in-one-go though, NOT chopped up into individual songs, because the momentum of the performance builds... It's the FASTEST 20 minutes you'll ever experience!

    Best band, best frontman ever!

    This is my generation of music. How lucky were we? You’re right, this is considered one of the epic live performances of all time. You should react to the entire twenty minute set start to finish! I would have given anything to attend either of the live venues just for the feeling of participation, but watching at home on tv had far more comfortable and better seating. At least that’s what I’ve been telling myself all these years. I’m surprised so many young people don’t know Queen (Led Zeppelin, Stones, AC/DC, Eagles, Aerosmith, etc.) but recognize their songs! Am loving sharing your journey (another great band!) of discovery!

    You need to see the whole thing. It's amazing. I watched it on TV when it happened. They so stole the show. Freddies Dr.told him not to sing as he had a soar throat. You know what he did.

    Love this. Even with a sore throat he could sing like this and hold that many people in the palm of his hand for the full set. Ultimate performer and very much missed. Somewhere down the line of your Queen journey I'd recommend reacting to Barcelona by Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe. Shows the man is capable of anything, plus it is beautiful 💜

    Queen is one of those bands that only gets better and better as you get older. Freddie is sorely missed, but I'm so grateful he gave us the gift of his music. Also, Queen with Adam Lambert is actually amazing. His performance of "Who Wants To Live Forever" is so emotional. You would LOVE it!

    Oh boy! This is a classic. Love it! Queen was my generation and we were so lucky. Some Iconic musicians came out of the 60's & 70's and have continued on 50-60yrs later (I think the Stones finally hung it up) I'll have to give it some thought and come up with a good one. Thx Travis 😎

    As you have probably figured out today, I just found your channel, so I'm looking at lots of your videos. You REALLY need to react to their full set at Live aid. It's only about 20 minutes, but they stole the whole show! There were TONS of phenomenal groups involved, but Freddie had a magical way with an audience. It's incredible.

    Loved your reaction, thanks. I do agree with the others. The set should be viewed in it's entirety so you can really take in the whole performance and envision what it must have been like to be there. Remember, this was viewed live around the world by 1.9 billion across 150 nations. I watched from home. Wish I could have been there live! If it's too long for you to react to, just watch it in it's entirety for your own pleasure. It is definitely something everyone should see at least once in their lifetime and you will not regret it. Other Queen songs to react to include ...Stone Cold Crazy Live at the Rainbow 1974, Under Pressure live at Wembley 1986, and White Queen live at Hammersmith (official video).

    Queen reminds me of that. There's a Bohemian Rhapsody song cover in Korea. It's Forestella. I think it's a Korean pantatonic. You know Sohyang, right? There's something I sang on the same program called "Immortal Songs." Please show us a reaction. I'll come to see it. It's an immortal masterpiece of Forestella Bohemian Rhapsody.^^

    Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Queen was the first to make their concerts interactive, weren't they? Like they created We Will Rock You as something easy the audience could stomp/clap along to and sing/chant the bridge back

    • @nancyblumberg4612
      @nancyblumberg4612 Před 2 lety

      You are right. I believe they were kinda shocked the audience was singing back to them. People did sing back then. The concerts were different when I was young, ( I am 63). Queen was never as big in the states as the rest of the world. MTV banned” I want to be free”. This was when old men had the say and thought that dressing in drag was just horrible. The video was a spoof on a British tv show Coronation Street and the idiots didn’t get the tongue and cheek humor. This was sad, Queen wasn’t really interested in taking the states right away. The whole world (no joke) loved Queen and that worked for them. I believe there was remorse on how things played out, America missed out on many great songs because they weren’t really here. The albums were here and singles also, but never got the air time they deserved.
