Thank you so much sir for your lovely replied,I show your video for my husband, again heartly thank u ,from India😊
I’m a bit confused. None of the links to the orthotics show and insert with the little bump you show in the video. Please provide a new link to those exact inserts. Thank you.
Çok canım yanıyo sokağa çıkınca yürüyemiyorum bulduğum bankta oturup ağlıyorum ayakkabı giymek cehennem azabı gibi ilaçlarında faydası yok çaresizim
Where are the red insert you show on the video? I dont see any with the red circle pad. And for the ones you link, do we still have to add a pad underneath?
Your videos are the best! My podiatrist in Nebraska only gave me a shot and when it helped reduce pain, said it was Morton’s. Didn’t do ultrasound or anything. I learn so much from your videos and really appreciate it. Wish I lived closer to your clinic. 😁
It's amazing how CZcams has become a wonderful source of knowledge where we get to learn from multiple experts!

What a blessing to find this video. Learn so much more than what I was told by my podiatrist. Thank you!!!!
Very informative! You are a great instructor! Very detailed and extremely practical. Thank you!
Thank you for all the great information.
Took me 3 years to actually find someone who is honest about this condition, not just “pushing” for surgery. Ugh I’ve had a neuroma for about 4 years now. It flares on n off but is really unbearable at times. I pray I find a podiatrist who will listen to me and not push for surgery.
Thank u this helps me a lot

thank you so much
Thank you very much , CZcams has become the place to go for my ailments. My own dr was thinking my foot needed surgery , then I went to see the podiatrist and he made an insole for my foot with a little lump to lift the area I nearly flew after the appointment I was so grateful. Then I ended up ill and could hardly walk but my foot never knew, it wasn't walking, it still had little spasms to itself lol. Great informative video thanks I will incorporate this in my daily routine , I have noticed my foot is definitely heavier whilst walking in my nb trainers suggested by my podiatrist. I don't really want to go for surgery , I know I can do it naturally, and you are the man right now . Thanks again for sharing your knowledge with us all. Keep Golden 🌟

22 years ago I had neuroma surgery on my right foot, the last couple years my left toes have been hurting but when I pop my toes and stretch out my foot the pain goes away temporarily. So yesterday I was searching for no neuroma related foot problems or like neuroma issues, because I was sure it was not in neuroma. I came across your videos yesterday so today just testing to see if it was actually neuroma I taped up my foot and then I taped some foam underneath my insole just under the ball of my foot, and so far today it feels so much better. The weird thing is my past neuroma, didn't hurt to step down but when I took my foot off the ground that's when I had a crazy shock go from my toes all the way up to my knee. It was so painful I could not do anything without taping my foot. Today my left foot has a completely different feel but it clicks and it's painful when I step down but not when I relieve the pressure. So now I'll work on trying to get rid of my neuroma and see if that fixes my foot.
Great vireo doc. Regarding taping of the toe(s)... my neuroma is between the 3rd and 4th toe. Knowing this, exactly which toe needs to be taped to keep the toe from flexing? I wasn't clear on your video regarding this section. Thanks in advance.
Finally I found out what I need from you!! Thanks Dr Tom
Thank you so much I really appreciate you 🙏❤️
Have an amazing Christmas ⛄🎁 and happy new year! ❤️🙏

I got toe separators that are used for putting polish on toenails. I put these on my feet while I'm sitting in the evening. I do it any time I have the least hint of the pain. My goal is every night for prevention. No serious prob for 40 years now. Never wore heels, never wore shoes that hurt.

I so wish I’d known about this exercising before I had surgery for Morton’s neuroma!!! I regret this surgery greatly. My foot is permanently numb in that toe area yet feels consistently uncomfortable. One toe sags slightly into the other causing a domino effect with the other toes. I was rushed into this surgery with no attempt to try conservative measures first. I was just convenience for the doctors pocketbook.
I hate my Morton's Neuroma, but the needles in the foot about gave my lunch back :) .. I loved the info on stretching and using a shoe with a higher/padded heal with great support. I've been wearing Altra shoes for a few years but they have zip for lateral heal support . I an now wearing Topo hiking boots that I found on sale and they've got the same nice toe box, but really good heel support latterally (side to side). When I find a pair of their shoes on sale, I will give them a try too.Good video, thank you for making it (I'm going to go see some of the ones you made on stretchin gspecificly now).

How reliable is squeesing technique to diagnose?
Where can you get a pad like that from the last tip?
Hi I noticed that the orthotics in the description don’t have the semi circle in the middle…are you supposed to do an extra step to get that semi circle?
I discovered the wideness of men's shoes never looked back.
What do you think about zen toes metatarsal pads From Amazon?
Hi there thank you for your video! Very informative! I was going to ask for further clarification on the last point you made about the pad. Are you saying to buy a pad, trim it down to size and stick it in the same area or to merge the orthotic and the extra pad (placed at the bottom of the orthotic).
In my experience i have had an ultrasound and have Morton's neuroma between the 3td and 4th as well as bursitis. Additionally my right foot is also slightly larger with an os trigonum in between the talus and calcaneus. I wear toe spacers, have orthotics, and mindfully wear wide toe box shoes to maintain function.
I do a lot of work on my feet. As a student currently almost finished my schooling for RMT I found this was really helpful to view the over pronation of the foot as a causative factor and will be looking at similar patients in practise to analyze their gait with this in mind.
I have been prescribed cortisol steroid shots for the neuroma but I am not sure if that is the best idea as I have been told a variety of things for various physicians for and against shots. It isnt painful all the time but i have altered as much as I am willing to.
What are your thoughts?
What are those shoe inserts called? The ones with the bump. Where can I get those?
What about Cryosurgery?
Dzięki za wskazówki, szkoda że wcześniej nie trafiłam na ten film, już po operacji a wynik nie satysfakcjonuje.
hello! Thank you so much about this video! So I have Morton's Neuroma mainly on my left foot. It appears when I started running and I was wearing my old and as it seems really bad shoes. In your opinion will I be able to run, long runs (like a marathon) with the suitable shoes, and with streching ect? Or if I have the neuroma I won't be able to be a -amateur- runner anymore? Maybe choose (with a heavy heart 😒) another activity ?
Hi ya. Been suffering from this for over a year in both feet now looking at solutions and stopping any exercise on my feet apart from the walking I have to do at work. It was caused by doing ballroom and Latin dancing wearing cuban heels which I think were to narrow for my feet. Any time frame of when this clears up as its getting very dull waiting for it to go away?
Many Thanks :-)
Thanks for pointing out that over pronation can exacerbate the issue. Snowboarding can make my MN unbearable. Snowboarding stances are generally toes pointed slightly out (duck stance). I plan to adjust that inward, wear good wide boots, and insert a metatarsal arch pad underneath my insoles. Hopefully this will do it and I can ride hard regularly with minimal pain.
🙌 ABSOLUTELY!
Snowboarding, construction boots, Rock Climbing shoes, anything that squishes my feet/toes are murder!
It sux, trying to reduce the swelling.
Good luck.
Thank you! Very informative. I switched a few years ago to a wider toe box shoes d/t Taylor's bunions and achilles tendonopathy. Now I am having issues with (what I believe is a neuroma) had an xray so far no result back yet. Just not fun. 5-7 months of PT for the achilles.

I was vegan for 5 yrs or so and I developed all kinds of symptoms including neuroma, dizziness, off balance and weakness. Doctor wasn't much help. I finally figured I wasn't getting my b's and protein even though I took supplements. So I've introduced meat back in my diet and trying to stay off carbs and sugars. I'm feeling a whole lot better and my foot seems to be healing.
Thanks.what is the best way to treat and massage the hollow foot for a child suffering from SMA ?please help me.
Great info! Much appreciated! Im a woman who for yrs worked in law office mgmt for huge law firms running around in high heels and Im now paying the price. I will try these tips and I'm sure I will get some relief esp with the orthotics and pad underneath. Another thing I do is use toe spacers. I have silicone toe spacers and also I use toe spacer socks in the winter. Also sometimes while I'm watching tv or youtube videos, I simply lace my fingers between my toes and gently spread them apart and with my other hand I massage the entire plantar fascia, focusing on the balls, arch and entire heel. Thanks again for the great video. Im a new subbie now too!

Very good information have much better understanding of what causes the pressure definitely starting a stretching protocol and ice/ massage. Interesting working at home not wearing heels I feel the neuronal is worse so I think stretching will make a difference. The shots at my podiatrist didn't do anything. Thank you for doing this video.
Always a pleasure.
Thank you for watching and the kind words!
Good info. What brand orthodic inserts did you show in the video?
In the description, but always check with a doctor first and get evaluated if any problems or issues!
I went to the link you have about what shoes to buy for Morton neuroma and there is not one specific for that condition . Which one you recommend ?
Thank you for this great video. I have MN on my both foot between 3rd and 4th toes. Right foot is 1 year old, the other is new. The old one is so bad that i can hardly walk. In every step my 4th toe streches, clicks and there has been pain like somebody is cutting it with a knife. I tried your taping method and it work well that i feel like a miracle happen. Thank you again and again.. 💞
My 4th toe clicks and hurts when I walk, too. Your comment is the first I've read of the 4th toe clicking. It seems like the problem is in the toe joint, but when I move and press the toe joint, it seems fine. Somehow, it must be the nerve under the toes that makes the toe click (the neuroma) but how does it do that?
Will the trick work if before the neuroma you had plantar plaisitis? For before I had that problem.
Thank you for all this information. I'm seeing a podiatrist for the first time to find out what this pain is under the ball of my big toe. I don't want surgery so I'm going to try the exercises. I did try that remedy of massaging the opposite foot and it felt worse so I stopped doing that.

I have lost sensation in three toes. Is there a way to bring back sensations?
What if I have the same pain but between my first and second toe?
My toes are seperated and it hurts so much, will be trying all these! Thank you!!

Thank you for being such a great fan, and we appreciate you watching!
Rea great informative video. I wish l lived near you! I initially waited 4 months for an NHS appointment due to toes feeling odd and numbness to be told by a trained physio. Just ignore the pain ! Anyway l paid to see a physio who so far has been very helpful. This video is great. I want to get better trainers but unsure what make would work. I like Sketchers but l am unsure which ones to get.
I would stick to wide toe box shoes like vevobarefoot or xero shoes :) plus a toe spacer
Custom orthotics were super useful at first and metatarsal pads. I also switched into zero drop shoes (Altras) with plenty of toe room. I also continue to use toe separators (correct toes). Calf stretching helped a great deal too. Went from barely being able to walk to doing most activities again. I can still have flare ups but many days I forget I have it.
Awesome, flexibility is the key for sure!
The altra shoes wouldn't be my first choice right off the bat, we find people do really well with like a 10-12mm heel drop to start with

@@DrTomBiernacki Flexible shoes are better. you just need to have your arches develop. don’t be a tenderfoot
Altra are the only shoes I can wear without pain..
Ive been having pain in between my two middle toes.. It makes a popping noise when i massage it... It hurts really bad when i massage it.. I wonder if its this condition..
This is truly an amazing video. I feel like I am a podiatrist now. 🤣
Haha thanks Joanna!
If possible, we would appreciate a quick rating (hopefully good), and it makes a HUGE difference for us!
