This is another good one, thanks. Just wondering why manufacturers don't build mountain sleds with the steering post further forward from the get-go, given that there seem to be forward shifts kits on the market for all of them. Is it the need to standardize as much production tooling across the range of trail and mountain sleds as possible?

I can't answer for the OEM's, but my opinion is that they are not riders, there for they can only build to what they know works. I have been a student to backcountry mountain riding my entire life and i find it's a process of evolution. I'm pointing out a few things from time to time that really work and the OEM's catch on and start to comply with the idea. The reality is that if we had todays sled 15 years ago, no one would like it because it is so radically different. But because it evolved a step at a time we became used to each improvement and accepted it.

Thank you for taking the time to produce these. I attended one of your clinics in West Yellowstone Montana this winter with a couple of friends and found it most helpful. These videos are an excellent follow-up to help me expand my skills.

Great work! I am a teenager on a smaller horsepower machine (550cc, 60hp), some tips are impossible for me but next year, I am looking forward buying a Ski-Doo Summit X 800 2013, but if you have any better recommendations, you can tell me!
