      He put a wiring diagram in the description and the coding.
      The coding will go into the software for the AtTiny. As for the wiring diagram, you can look up how to read them and it will help you with the setup a lot along with all kinds of other projects.
      Typically, when assembling a PCB, you want to start with the smaller components and work your way up. I'd recommend building it on a breadboard first to make sure you got everything right and that it works. Much easier to fix it there than it is to desolder stuff.
      Then you can transfer it to a PCB. The PCB he is using appears to be a through hole single sided solderable breadboard. You can get them pretty cheap on Amazon or most electronic parts websites.
      He didn't list the size of the schottky diode, but someone else commented that any 5V should suffice. I don't know for sure, but that's what building on a breadboard is for. If it doesn't work, you can swap it out. Of course you could also do the math to figure it out based off the other components too. I think there are programs online that can also do the math.

    • @kraziecatclady
      @kraziecatclady Před 3 lety

      Components don't cost that much and as for this box, you should be able to use the link he left in the description to copy and paste the code. The only thing that might change is the pins, but that's only if you use a different IC than the one he is using really.
      I'm working with Arduinos and that's the main thing that I usually have to change, but that's because I keep building using different boards than the ones the example code is coming from.
      Arduino also comes with a lot of examples as well. You can go in and adjust things to see what changes.
      I've been watching a lot of Paul McWhorter's videos on Arduinos to help me out. He explains a lot about how the parts and codes function. Some of it can get redundant if you already understand the components, but for someone who doesn't, it's probably really helpful.
      There is a kit he uses for his classes, but I bought the much cheaper Rexqualis version long before I found his videos. That's the main reason why I keep having to change pin numbers. My board is not an Uno like he is using. I'm still not having any problems following along, but I also know a little Python, Powershell, and Visual Basic, so it's probably easier for me to decode what is going on. I've also been trying to learn Javascript because I need it to do what I want in Powershell and Python concerning the webpages...

      I don't see why not. The DF mini MP3 player has the programming built in that decodes the MP3 files.
      I watched this because I'm trying to build something for a friend that involves music and flickering lights, but I'm using an arduino nano. I think I need to add a capacitor, OpAmp, or something, but I'm not having much success finding anything close enough to my build.
      The MP3 keeps glitching out after a few seconds of music and just makes this ticking noise until I reupload the code which just causes the same issue again. The lights don't flicker correctly either. Without the player, the lights work fine, without the lights, the player still doesn't work quite right.

      Some more info:
      S (source) connects to ground but this is a p-channel MOSFET so that's why it's connected to the positive voltage.
      G (gate) connects to our I/O (Input/Output) which is our switch here.
