Bro, you can't tell your trigger weight gage, combined with the way you are doing it, is way the heck off. I own these guns and none of the trigger weights are as low as you are saying. The lowest Factory Shadow 2 trigger you're going to see is 2 lb at best. You either had a ton of trigger work and other work done on these Firearms to reach that trigger weight or it's just way the heck off. At less than a pound the guns would not be able to function.
@@Jonmalinowski everyone starts out as an amateur, just get a new trigger gauge calibrate it and keep forging ahead you'll gain more experience and knowledge as you go.
Just picked up one of the optics ready shadow 2’s. What kind of work have you done to get the single action trigger near a pound? I’d love to know more because I’m interested in doing some work on mine.
It's much easier to get a TSO/TSO2 to a pound compared to a Shadow because the TRS, trigger bar, and trigger (the trigger is the same as on a SAO Shadow 2 though) are different compared to standard CZ 75 variants (Shadow 2 included). The TSO/TSO2 are SAO and because of the different parts, cannot be converted to DA/SA.
You can get mounts that replace the thumb rest/gas pedal, some with their own thumb rest as well. This pistol is designed primarily as a USPSA/IPSC limited class pistol, with potential use as a open pistol. Limited class is all iron sights, so a slide optic cut doesn't make sense for this pistol, especially because any use in a potential limited optics class would use the frame mount, similar to an open pistol.
Not really. There are no holes on the right side, and also the thumb rest is not symmetrical, it will not fil around. You could get an aftermarket one though and drill the holes. Id just remove it for left handed shooter, thumb rest impact on perfofmance is overrated and best shooters actually use if as index point more then recoil control thing
gauge is ok, he is measuring wrong. You should slowly pull until trigger breaks, not jerk back violently. Stock Sh2 should be 2.5-3.5, tricked out around 2 is possible with reasonable springs.
You better have some extremely good trigger control at 1.5 to 1.25 pounds of trigger pull weight or else you will lots of unintended discharges with a handgun.

Really enjoyed your review of the TS 2 Orange. I will buy one as soon as I can find one in stock.

My thoughts as well!
Great Review! I had an original TSO that I should have kept. I'm now considering the TSO 2. I love that Bull Barrel.
Best review ever 👍🏻. Thx 🙏

What’s the model/part number on the new model?
is the cut into the lower frame for the left thumb rest the same between both? can you interchange the two thumb rests between the two guns?
I believe the angle is different on both gas pedals so likely no
none in stock yet why not ?
I love my CheckMate and my TSO
Now I have to get TSO2.
Great review. Question: Any red dot sight neither light sights fit on the TS 2 Orange, right ? There is not a rail for light/laser sight
Believe you have to get it milled to accept a site

Does anyone know if you can swap the thumb rest to the other side to suit left handed shooters?
It can not. you would have to find one that fit and then have the right side drilled and tapped. Gun manufactures hate us lefties
You cant

Hello sir, have you shot the ts2orange from the bench at 25 yards to see accuracy ? thanks
Shot it standing at 100 yards and it’s extremely accurate

Gonna go out on a limb and say your trigger gauge is way out of spec. There is no way a gun is leaving the factory with under a one pound pull.
My thoughts exactly thats not even close to right.
Yea, I thought so soon as the shadow was below 2lb. I think him jerking it doesn’t help. Should be like 2-4lb on the ts2

I have 3 of these guns...all ranged from 1.25 pounds to 1.65 lbs from factory when i bought them new

Both my Original and Orange 2 have aluminum triggers where your finger makes contact. Are you referring to that part or the internals?

Hmm my original orange trigger blade is aluminum. No polymer there
