- Even though I made an awesome pedalboard from reclaimed wood back in 2015, I realized that it was too big to easily carry around, so I made this smaller version that fits into an aluminum carry case. It also uses a simpler set of tools, and has narration that describes how I made it.

LPB1 first in line! Awesome! I've used one ever since the 70's to overdrive my overdrive and other pedals for solos!
This is the coolest pedalboard I’ve seen all year. Thanks for sharing.
Love it Bill!
Doh!
Now I'm getting the itch to start a workshop.
Nice job, Bill! I have built several boards for myself over the years. I am a big collector, in addition to user :) One suggestion, you would actually be better off getting finish on the shelf section because the adhesive on the velcro will adhere better to a smooth, solid surface than bare wood grain.
YES. Nice project, nice video! I see a similar pedalboard build in my future. Van Loo-inspired.
Fantastic instructional vid... very inspiring... clear info and I thank you very much.
Just subscribed to you so I can see future builds.
Nice job man! I much rather build my own boards because I can make exactly what I envision as opposed to settling for what's on the market. Do more builds!
Amazing Job !
Hey whats the background ambient song ?
I am building a Holeyboard type pedalboard (where there are holes for zipties to attach pedals to) and I am curious what would happen to the wood over time if I don't put a finish on it like poly/clear coat or paint? I was thinking that I'm just gonna step on it so I don't want to bother painting it.
Love it, but I just never saw a big old piece of Scrap Poplar!
Great soundtrack!
Thanks, Joe!
Excellent build! I love the functionality and portability.
Loved the music too. Is that your own?
Thank you! Yes, it’s original music of mine; just some ambient guitar sounds. Thanks for watching!
Starting with the aluminum case was a really smart move
How many guitarists have tools like this?
I feel a bit Like an ass because I can say that I do but I think the same thing every time I watch these guys building these.
I just did my pedalboard with a saw and a screwdriver. It's the same as the machines, but you do it manually. I spent less than 20$ in everything
Plenty…
Rewieu pedal joyo please
Can you make one for me?
Asics Oniksuka Ultimate 81's Nice!
To big is only determined by the user. I would rather build mine,Big or small.thanx for sharing.
this is a great tutorial!!! i just think a less fish eyed camera would have been awesome
Where is power supply?
cool.. but looks heavy. I guess you could get away with thinner boards
I don't like the velcro , but great job anyway ! ;-)
Back when a board of wood cost less than a Boss pedal.
Just buy a decent 50-60 dollar pedalboard
No hassle
Sure, you could absolutely do that. I happen to enjoy making things.
simple? ok
not simple, _simple-er._ but still quite overwhelming for my beginner skills and toolkit. especially without written instructions… 🤷🏿♀️
