Dan Morgan "hard to bluff ." old airborne cadence that ollllllld school DS' use. the ones that make you run to the airfield, make 3 jumps, then run back to the BN to wait in the leaning rest for your company 'S DFAC spot
wait...my class didnt get chutes. we just aimed for water landings or (for the hardcore) cacti and pine trees. funny story. I didnt want to have to recheck my gear on a regimental jump so i sucked it up, circled the jump zone for 2 hours for weather clearing, static line didnt release right away and i SLAMMED into the side of the c17 and left a dent. Chute deployed and i got the risers under control then pissed from around 600 ft in the air
I loved this cadence so much. At ft polk, we would use this one almost every running day, and at ft jackson my platoon started every day yelling at our sgt "YOU PUMP ME UP" back and forth. Truly majestic motivation.
