Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood's soundtrack has some incredible music and Trisha's Lullaby, also known as Lullaby of Resembool, is way up there in my top 3. I absolutely adore Frank Tedesco's arrangement of the song so I took the time to transcribe it. The sheets are available for free in my Google drive with Frank's permission.

When you look past all the alchemy and fights and whatnot, Fullmetal Alchemist is just the sad story of 2 young boys who wanted to feel their mother's love one more time.

The original is even sadder too (spoilers for the original). Also donât spoil the movie bc I havenât watched it yet
At first they lost their mother. They tried to get her back and lost their bodies. They tried to get back their bodies and lost each other. Especially Edward who lost all of the friends he made along the way and is stuck in a strange land trying to find home, or more specifically, his brother.
Itâs sad that whenever they want something back which is impossible to obtain, they end up losing everything. At the end of the show, they are left without the last thing which kept them going.

@@JelloKelo I personally love these sad endings yet hate them. They are something I don't see coming and I am clearly not prepared for. I usually expect happy for everyone, or almost everyone. This ending was special to me bacause it was a little different with all the twists. Sad yet touching

This anime was and always will be a masterpiece no one could ever mimic. The character development, the fight scenes, the ost, the story line, the sad parts, the eery grim parts, the funny parts, the cool parts, just everything you could ever want in an anime.
Everything was perfect, the slow pacing allowed for them to delve into the philosophies of each character
And best of all it comes to tell a story and does so perfectly
âGive him back, heâs my brother! Take my arm, take my leg, take my heart u can have it! Just give him back, heâs my only brother!â

The feels... FMA Brotherhood remains my favorite anime so far. And I don't think any other will be able to take it's place anytime. This is one of the best song from FMA. Amazing video, as always ! (Sorry for the mistakes, if there are, not a native english speaker.)

I have watched a lot of animes but FMA Brotherhood is just perfect for me ! I can't find anything bad in it. That's just me feeling ! But I will look for more anyways, can't get bored os good animes !

I lost count of how many times I've watched/listened to this. Whenever I need to calm down, or when my brain is going a million miles a minute, this always helps me. I love it. The anime is one of my favourite anime of all time and the OST is one of my favourite as well. The piano covers are definitely something that I listen to whenever I need to just calm me down.
I just wonder how many times I've listened to this. The song and the playing is just so beautiful. Like the person is playing with emotions along with the gorgeous and beautiful melody.

Nicely done! It's really interesting to watch your fingerings and compare it to how I would play the Synthesia notes. You use a lot more middle finger in intervals, where I would use ring finger.
I really like it as well! It's the reason why I originally starting watching him. The quality is simply amazing.

I learnt this piece when it came out on your channel 3 years ago. I was 13 at the time. Now, just because it haven't played it for so long made me lost most memories I had of it. I can only play by heart until 2:00 and so comes, I'm relearning it right now ! :)

I tried translating the lyrics, itâs their mother singing about how sheâs always looking over them, no matter what, and that their father is too. The ending is especially sad, saying âin the room where your mother isnât...â relating to when they tried transmuting her yet it wasnât actually her there. The amount of thought they put into the soundtrack was amazing.
I don't always watch your videos, but when I do it's always a brand new experience. I think your CZcams channel is one of my favorites no matter how long the time in between watching videos. I rewatched this anime this week after about four years since I last saw it. I had forgotten almost everything so it was like watching it anew.. God, what a treasure of an anime.. such a moving end.

The one thing I've always disliked about this song, especially when played correctly, is just how much *pain* there is in those notes. Not pain through anger, but complete sorrow, regret, and longing.

After the end of the dark souls series , and diving deep into its lore and remembering the drakengard series and itâs modern day sequel nier:automata , I feel like everything that I do and listen , hear , read , or play strikes this sadness into my heart , and reminds of the sad stories that truly end in horrible outcomes and unfair conditions .

Barring Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Martin O'Donnell, and Michael Salvatori, Japan hands down has the best composers. Think of all the games, anime, and movies that originate there and all the mesmerizing soundtracks that accompany them. Final Fantasy, Monster Hunter, Evangelion, FMA just to name a few.
