Wow, thank you! As a Christian this is so special to me. I will never be able to see Jerusalem in person in this life, so this was beyond amazing. Of all the channels I watch on the history and archology of Israel this is by far the best I have seen. I love Biblical Archology and am always almost giddy when something from the Old Testament period is proven. I was at the Western Wall but nobody told our church group that there was a secret tunnel somewhere in the area.
Anyway, that was almost 10 years ago. You can possibly visit Jerusalem if you join a tour group which would be much cheaper than traveling alone.
Try to include Galilee in your itinerary. You will feel that you went back to the time of Jesus. Hope you can make the trip. Stay safe.

In the last year, I have had a tour of Israel planned (and paid for) 3x and subsequently canceled 3x. The first time I became ill. The 2nd was because my luggage was stolen in Barcelona as we were headed for our flight to Israel, which created complications to moving ahead. And, the third time we were to be there was the week after 10.7.
I really appreciated this tour as I won't be planning another trip. As the tour guide said, below every difficult, sad thing lies something good (providential).

Isreal will seriously need the tourist dollars when this war is over & they’ve beaten the terrorists. It’s probably the best way ppl can support the ppl of Isreal & their economy since tourism is such a massive part of it & who knows how long it will take b4 ppl feel comfortable going there. So perhaps consider not crossing it off your list just yet.
You should come anyway. It's not a touristy scene right now but everybody is so happy to see visitors and there are no crowds and prices are down. What could be better?

Thank you for giving us a wonderful vision of how Israel has recreated its Jewish past. I never got to see these scenes when I visited Israel 30 years ago, but I did look down into the areas where scholars worked and prayed. Now I see why the Islamists don't want more digging--they know the world will see how deeply embedded Judaism is in the very soil and stone of the Temple Mount. When I wrote a novel called "The Wind is the Breath of God," my love letter to Israel, I imagined some of what you showed us today, but could never have imagined the breathtaking beauty of this holy place. Although not born a Jew, I somehow feel that I now share in the "Gift of the Jews," awareness that God is One and that finally God's children have come home. God bless Israel!

This is a "fabulous" tour, and the guide is excellent! A "must see" for any tourist, visitor, or pilgrim on a visit to Jerusalem, for Jews and Christians alike to get a better understanding of the Western Wall, and life in Jerusalem in Biblical times. I have been on the "classic" tour of the Tunnels which itself is great! This might even be better. Put it on your itinerary the next time you plan to visit Israel and Jerusalem in particular. Israel is beautiful!

I took this tour last March. So much history one can hardly recollect the thoughts from one epoch to the next along the way. It was overwhelming to see, towards the end of the tour, a column from the Temple on a hall used in Temple times for lavish festivities. The column was placed there by the Muslims, after they conquered the city, and used the chamber for some sort of shop or factory. I almost heard the echoes of Jesus' Words as He taught in Salomon's Porch. It was very overpowering too, to see and seat at the current beautiful synagogue, so inspiring and majestic. A tour to be remembered. Thanks for posting!

This was amazing and you truly get a sense of the incredible size of the structures. The history lesson for me was fascinating as I did not know how many Kings destroyed the Temple or denied the city to the Jewish people. It’s the 2000 years that touched my heart as the people kept coming back and rebuilding, reclaiming their history and beliefs. This tour guide is just amazing very well done.
I was there in 2015 just a short break after a business tour. Then again in 2017. I dont think this was open but we did notice the system of arches. Hopefully when things are more peaceful we will take a vacation to check it out. Touching the western wall was cool.
