- The city of David is an archaeological site situated in Jerusalem. It is considered to be one of the most important historical and biblical sites in the world. The area is believed to be the original city center of ancient Jerusalem and also holds a religious and historical significance for the Jewish people.
Archaeological excavations at the City of David have unveiled numerous artifacts, structures, and ancient remains, shedding light on the city's rich history. Among the discoveries are ancient fortifications, water systems, tunnels, residential areas, palaces, administrative buildings, and religious structures.
The Hebrew Bible refers to the City of David as the city King David conquered and made the capital of the Kingdom of Israel in the tenth century BCE. The complex, which extends southward from the Temple Mount, includes the hill where the ancient city originally stood. It is located halfway between the Tyropoeon Valley and the Kidron Valley.
Today, the City of David is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the world who come to explore its ancient ruins, walk through its narrow tunnels, and learn about the rich history and religious significance of the site. Excavations and ongoing research continue to provide new insights into the ancient past of Jerusalem and its significance in the religious and cultural heritage of the Jewish people.
In this episode, Part 2, we will be touring Hezekiah's Tunnel, the Canaanite tunnel, Jerusalem’s ancient city walls, the Siloam inscription, the Pool of Siloam/Shiloah, the central drainage channel, the Givati parking lot dig, and more!

I hope jews realize we are in the end times Jesus and Daniel prophesized about. When christians disappear, UFOs which are demons and fallen angels will be blamed. I pray that I live long enough to merit walking from the pool filled with water again all the way up to the western wall along the restored street. I was 5 in 1967, and I remember my father walking with me in the streets of the old city just after it was liberated. I remember walking into the golden dome as a child, before Jews were banned.

I made it a point to watch this Part 2 and this tour through the tunnel was fascinating.. more suspenses await I think each time a layer is uncovered as you dig. Thank you for painstakingly filming through the entire stretch of the tunnel with your equipment even while running short of breath and Yehuda making it a point that he doesn't miss out intricate details even through this exhausting stretch. 👏👏That's the spirit 🌟🌟Thank you brothers

The last time I was in Israel was summer of 2008. Then, the pool of Siloam was only said to be the Byzantine pool, but that never made sense to me because when Jesus healed the blind man at the pool of Siloam he did it in front of a large crowd and you could not easily fit a large crowd in the Byzantine pool but one the size of two Olympic pools with areas to sit around it yeah… that would be quite a crowd. Kind of cool to see the more they uncover the more accurate the Bible has shown to be. Grain offerings, pigeons, doves, lambs, and cattle were probably all sold as those were some of the major offerings in the temple.

It's so amazing how Israel has so much greenery now instead of looking like a baron desert in comparison to pictures taken before 1947. During Palestinian control, Allah didn't care about the land. No. It was on Mt. Moriah, above and north of the City of David.
@@dixierepublican some people speculate that it was not. Would have been a nice solution to keep both the mosque and rebuild the Temple in original location…
@@slawekwojtowicz It would, because if the third temple must be rebuilt, and it must... the mosque has to go, and that usually only happens through war... God will protect those who belong to Him. He knows every hair on their heads. But things are going to get very crazy in the coming months and years.
