Lead, mercury and acid in rain used to be a very real problem until we passed a ton of environmental laws to clamp down on emissions. Every global heat record continues to be broken every year, even if it might get slightly colder in some places.

They don't even realise CO2 is not a problem AT ALL ! At 0.02% there would be world famine and at 0.015% all the plants die so problem fixed.
Even now farmers pump CO2 into their greenhouses to get the plants to grow faster.
The fact is plants like CO2 . At higher CO2 levels plants require less water so would be able to encroach onto desert areas. It's all round good.
Before anyone replies "greenhouse gas" . CO2 isn't a very good greenhouse gas it's effect compared to like clouds is infinitely small. In fact it we doubled the CO2 in the atmosphere tomorrow apart from better growing plants you wouldn't even notice .
But then all that's just facts which doesn't effect policy !

Yup and in fact the fact that plants like it will mean that plants will grow bigger to match the CO2 and out consume what we produce! The whole environmentalist movement is a scam to prey on the less informed. Green products are a multi billion dollar industry. Tell me they arent paying these politicians off and I will laugh in your face.

I love that my previous comment got removed for saying that the higher carbon dioxide would help the plants outpace our co2 emissions and it wouldnt be a problem. Guess I did also say that its a billion dollar industry and people are clearly paid off too. Makes you wonder about googles motives if theyre taking down that comment.

That's nonsense. CO2 levels have increased by fifty percent in the Industrial Era due to anthropogenic CO2 emissions and is increasing by 3 ppm a year. There's no shortage of CO2.

saying that CO2 is not a good greenhouse gas compared to water vapor ( and methane ) is true . but that is kind of like saying that rattlesnake poison is a poor poison compared to botulism toxin. Both CO2 and rattlesnake venom only have to be a certain level of "good" to cause a dangerous effect. The prediction for doubling CO2 is roughly a 1 to 4 degree Celsius average increase in Global surface temps. Think about how much heat must be added to the oceans, the air the land, to raise the average temperature of a planet by even 1 degree fahernheit. I get that 1 - 4 degrees rise in temp doesn't seem scary at al. Seems like a minor thing, if you don't understand the difference between heat and temperature ( 9th grade physical science should have got us there ) Climate change is much more about heat stored in air land and water than the actual temp. 1 - 4 degrees also seems minor because the effect takes time to happen. There are all kinds of tipping point effects that can unleash other warming agents... One example is the Right now permafrost keeps millions of tons of Methane from being released into the atmosphere. Methane is a far more potent greenhouse gas than CO2. A fool considers tipping the first domino in a series of dominoes as a self contained event , like it falling over is all that will happen. The effects of increasing greenhouse gasses are reasonably predictable. But yes, let's bequeath to our great grandchildren Another bill for them to pay. and when they ask why we tipped the first domino? Well who cares? we got ours... and probably won't even be around to answer.

Goodness me. That woman was singing in her head the whole time he was talking and only woke up when he directly asked her a question. We have 'officials' like that in England too. One of them is Mayor of London.
