    Something else to consider taking is thank you cards for the doctors, nurses, and aids, etc. They tend to be very appreciated, and just nice to have to give the people who spend so much time and energy helping you.
    Making homemade cards can also be a good way to involve younger family members in a parent or other loved one’s care, and give them something they can control during what can be a scary and stressful time.

    Thanks for doing this video. I'm meeting with the transplant team tomorrow to discuss the possibility of back-to-back stem cell transplants, here in Ottawa, Canada. I assume most of the advice in this video will apply.
