Good chance those catfish came from my home state of Mississippi, they are farm raised and grain fed in a controlled environment, that's why they are so good. If you are ever in Laurel Mississippi be sure to eat at Charlie's Catfish, it's the best in my opinion.

One of our favorite places to eat and our favorite place to play Miniature Golf. Huvk Finns has really good food. Well worth a visit.

We have got to Southernize you all. Proud for you trying good fried catfish. Next time you eat hushouppies, break them open and dip in ketchup. never be afraid to eat with your hands in the South! corn on the cob, ribs, slice of watermelon, hushpuppies, strawberries out of the garden, etc. keep up the good work! work up your nerve and try fresh fried creamed corn off the cob, fresh cast iron skillet fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and sometime try tomato gravy, thick and tangy on biscuits!

I’ve had catfish and I love it so much. My uncle lived in Dresden, Tennessee and nearly every year we would drive up to Reelfoot Lake to a restaurant that served catfish. With hush puppies, too. Now there’s a restaurant in Pigeon Forge called Huck Finn’s. I’m glad that you and Dawn enjoyed the catfish with chicken. It probably was so good. Then you both went to Old McDonalds Mini Golf. I bet that it was fun too. Wonderful video Will and Dawn.

Hey, another good find for catfish is Chubbys Deli on Newport Hgwy in Sevierville. They have a website and serve specials every day. You should check it out. Also if you stay on Newport Highway going away from Sevierville you'll run into Bush Beans. They also have a restaurant, gift shop, and museum. But try Chubbys first when they have catfish. Enjoy your videos.

I will try Huck's on our next trip. Years ago that catfish out front passed us on interstate . At a stop I asked the driver where the huge catfish was headed and he told me about the restaurant .

I love, love, love catfish. My uncle and aunt lived in Dresden, a town in west Tennessee. He would take my Mom and I to Reelfoot lake. There was a restaurant there that served the best catfish dinner. I loved it. I looked forward to it every time we would go, usually every summer. I’m so glad that Dawn and Will tried and loved the catfish. Of course the only way to cook it is to fry it. I don’t eat it baked, or blackened. Not as good. The meal you had sure looked good. 😊😊😊

I lived in WV for 8 year and I had never had Catfish before I moved there.
It's lovely, I really like it!
It's a shame we can't buy it here in England but they only seem to sell Cod & Haddock here, Boring Brits! ....LOL
The food looked amazing, I come from a town of about 40,000 plus in England, but the town has very little when it comes to food, very few choices!
The Americans are in a totally different league to us Brits, you're food is Fantastic and the different choices are Amazing!
I miss Denny's, ....No Denny's in the UK!

Really interesting point you made in this video when you refered to you're Grandfather .....why would people wait in line for bad food.
He was a very Wise man!
Many Brits could learn a lot from him, here in the UK you don't see many lines of people waiting for food, only at a few places.
Most of the food here in the UK is Crap and Expensive ....just like most of the Service!

Looked really nice. I'm not a fan of pinto beans unless putting them in my homemade Spanish Rice, Chilli. But the rest looked good. Now in SC they have sweet hushpuppies. And in some places in WV they have Honey Butter to put.on your hushpuppies..good

They have a guy, who goes into the little pigeon river. He puts his arm in the water near the banks and a Cat fish clamps on. Fresh fish for the restaurant.
