The Sunliner Diner was so cool. The atmosphere around inside the diner was awesome. You can even have your dinner served while you sit in a car. A pink Cadillac was one of the cars in there. WOW! Will and Dawn had to wait 90 minutes before sitting down, which is ok since the diner was just open a few days ago. Willâs burger looked good. So did Dawnâs fish and chips. All in all it was a great experience. đđđ
I may be wrong, but I think that was candied bacon not canned bacon.
I love the retro look of the Sunliner Diner, it is just my type of place.. I will half to check it out-thanks for the tip..

Been to PPF several times this year and watched this diner under construction. Glad to see what it is like and we look forward to trying it out in the spring when we come back. We grew up in the 50's so the décor is right up our alley. Thanks for sharing!!

We had dinner the first night they opened. It was awesome! It is such a cool place, the food was delicious, the service was great! They got a few things wrong with our burgers, and the sweet tea was unsweetened, but for the first day, it was great! The little gift shop it great, with all of the nostalgic candies and toys! It will definitely be a regular spot for us when in Pigeon Forge. Luckily, we live only an hour and a half from the original diner in Gulf Shores!
@@kennethayers5624 this is a diner. All diners are similar and all diners are built very similar. It's a diner so what else would you expect it to look like? Or what other kinds of food would you expect? I've eat at Mel's and I don't think it's that good. The hamburgers are small and the diner is small. Their is nothing that unique about it. I don't think they stole anything from it.

We were staying at the River Bend Inn 2 weeks ago .I can't believe it's up and running !! It was coming along but wow that's fast . Thanks for the tour .Cant wait to enjoy it !!
The views of the exterior took my breath away. All of that neon look is beautiful I enjoyed the exploration of all the merchandise, the way the interior was configured looked like there was an area for a dance floor (long as you didnât wipe out one of the waitresses) you could have a good time. Your burger looked like a coronary on a plate but it looked scrumptious! The fries looked nondescript but Iâve seen many fries on many of your plates so theyâre fries
I'll be traveling with a group of gluten-free folks, so we probably won't even drive through the parking lot... darn.

We ate there for lunch on 11/30/19 before heading back to Ohio, was told the wait would be about an hour but only waited about 20 minutes for a table. Food was good. Would definitely go back.

Only half of the restaurant is open. It was an hour wait last week. I will try it next year.

Most of the people in our group had burgers, and thought they were great! My husband did say his was a little dry. I loved their fries! I love that they use the coarse sea salt, they are seasoned really well.

I actually wanted to open a retro diner once, seriously, but didn't know the first thing about it. HEY, speaking of "old school toys", does anybody remember a plastic toy mountain with a marble? It was full of holes (where a marble enters the mountain), and you never knew which hole it would come OUT of. I've search online for it, but never could find it. I have NO idea what the name of it was, but I remember playing with one.
Just curious, do they have only 50s songs on their jukebox, or also 60s? I loved the 4 Seasons.
Looks like I have a new place to bring my rods next time there.

I am so homesick for the Smokies! Stopped there in 1971 on my grad trip with girlfriends, and had to return for my honeymoon with my new husband in fall of 1972. We have been back over 50 times in 48 years....spring, summer,& fall.....our favourite season. Once for all the Xmas lights! We were there in March when covid struck, I'm so glad I got my fix before being in lockdown! Continue.your great tours....I love your video's! Can't wait to be back in God's country again! Great video, would have thought the chefs would have tried to make the food better than all the other places , beer battered fries etc or done own in store special ground beef mix , but seems other people are liking the food , so there you go đ€đ€

That was wonderful that those sweet fans bought your dinner! God Bless em! Is the burgers there better than JT Hannaâs? The Sunliner wasnât open when we went. Still under construction that week. After meeting yuns at Dollywood that night we went straight there for a cheeseburger. I hadnât had one in a while an wanted to know who had the best burger in town. I was kicking myself that we didnt ask yuns. Someone who was in line for the trams behind us let us know about Hannahs. I got the Killing me burger and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! SO is the dinerâs burger better?

Well you talked me into going back to Pigeon Forge and the Gatlinburg area after a six year absence of going to other places.I was pretty close to visiting Branson Missouri this summer but with all the new stuff that you guys have been showing and talking about I can't possibly not go back lol.Also,I did hear that there's gonna be a new water park in Sevierville that will be opening this May called Soaky Mountain Water Park?.Well anyway I hope to run into you two this summer!
Hey guys good viedo..but sorry when you was showing the prices on there menu..WOW no way would I ever pay prices like that just for a burger and fry (13.99) that's way to high...when I am in pigeon forge I will go in there to only look at there stuff throughout the resturant but for one have to wait a hour and half just to eat and then pay very high prices like that...nope..no thank you. Anyways nice video ..

Me and my wife went there the exact same week they've been open for 4 days play sucked and was extremely expensive $41 for double cheeseburger club sandwich and kids grilled cheese now yes I understand you're paying for the experience in the surroundings and all of that but really the food wasn't all that good the fries were good and the service sucked
