As far as,I am concerned preaching the Gospel is the best thing for the times we live in.Having good food,and Fellowship,well that is a winner too.
Off the beaten path restaurants are always more interesting and usually serve really good food too. Thank you for sharing!

Best BBQ in the Smokey Mountains and I have tried them all several times. Very friendly family and will go out of their way for you. This will be a regular visit on our trips every year.

We literally fell upon this place years ago on our way back from Gatlinburg. We got it to go and ate it back at our hotel in Pigeon Forge. My husband is still talking about the ribs and I remember LOVING the potato salad. LOL! Its tough to rate anything best, because everyone has different tastes, but I'm looking forward to going back again!
Going back in time and watching older videos. I love, love this one the drive out there is so beautiful...good food also!

We ate there a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I got the ribs, slaw and beans too. Delicious. My husband got the pulled pork, potato salad and slaw. He loved it too. We highly recommend it to everyone. We did not have enough room for dessert. He was out of banana pudding that day. It is such a small place they can run out of food, so plan on going early.

Preacherâs Smokehouse BBQ was a great place for some really good food. Dawn has the ribs. They were really good. The ribs were falling off the bone, which is great. She also had cole slaw and potato salad. Both were good. Will had the pulled pork, with cole slaw and baked beans. The pork was awesome. So was the slaw and beans. All in all, both had great meals. đđ

On vacation from Ohio and went to Preacherâs Smokehouse because of your review! It was delicious! We told them we were there because of your review and they said yâall have sent them a lot of business in the last few weeks, just thought Iâd let you know since I havenât seen any remarks about anyone else trying them out. Tried preachers yesterday and the 5 of us did the Will and Dawn review, it was good and yes we would eat there again, and found out the girl was from our state and area of pa, what a small world, we did mention due to your reviews we r trying where ever you guys liked, maybe we will run in to you while we r in town đ

We ate there as soon as we got to gatlinburg last Saturday. The food was really good. They have an awesome view from there too. We will definitely go back next time. Thanks for sharing.

I used to live in Sevierville and they have the best homemade banana pudding!!! Their bbq is great too. :) I miss that place. Sam is so nice.

We ate at preachers last Dec. It was great BBQ and we met Sam he is a great guy also all of the staff were great.

We where just there a couple of weeks ago. We passed Preacher's going to the cabin that we where staying at. It was some if not the best BBQ we have ever ate. For a family of 4 it was about $70.00 but there was enough food for two meals each from what we ordered. The trip to Preacher's Smokehouse is totally worth it.
I love me some barbecue đ lol bunch of good places where I live, but I love how he is a preacher an owns a restaurant an combines both his passions. Iâll definitely have to check this place out when Iâm back over there.

Thanks for sharing. There was another small smoke shack right before you got to the main part of the dragon before the Harley Shop. I canât remember the name of it. But it was outdoor dining only. But had great bbq too.

Iâm a vinegar pulled pork girl! I judge eateries by their coleslaw, I like it a little more vinegar based with onion.
Definitely homemade eastern Carolina BBQ sauce with extra sweet onion and scallion in the slaw!

Me and my family went by there going up to our cabin we rented last July 4th
My husband, son, and I go to Pigeon Forge yearly. Sometimes twice a year. We'll have to check this place out!
We found this place by accident years ago, one of the best places to eat. Jus make sure to call fist to make sure they are open.

This seems to be a lot more reasonably priced for BBQ. The ribs looks nice and tender, hearty portion of beef on the sandwich and nice sides too.
My wife and I always did Cole slaw and potato salad and decided the best, 27 states, Tennessee best for both!!

If you ever go back to Georgia, go to The Pizza Farm in Rockmart Ga, or The Hickory Hut in Dallas Ga.
Can u suggest anymore "local/mom and pop" restaurants like this? Coming down in April and would love to hit a few places like this.
Believe it or not there aren't a lot around we've pretty much touch base with a lot of them already
Being from Texas we are very picky about our BBQ. I'm happy you said the brisket didn't need sauce. Did it have a "rub" on it, or just smoked. I'm definitely going to go try this place. If for no other reason the price looked reasonable. Some of the BBQ places here are just to pricy. Like you said, that last place y'all spent $50 for 2 people. That is just ridiculously high. Anything over $20 a person better be 5 star service, atmosphere and prime rib or filet minion . đ
I eat there often, it's one of my favorite places. Go back for the brisket chili!

Wish you would have posted this video yesterday we were just down there this weekend. We were wanting BBQ we went to the Old Mill, my wife got their pulled pork it was really good, don't know if you've tried it you should
The Old Mill is about as good as it gets! Try Tony Gores on 66 for bbq also!
Haven't tried Preacher's, so far my favorite bbq place up there is Delauder's.

Will and Dawn have you tried "Heavenly Hog BBQ"? We really like their BBQ and their prices are pretty reasonable. They are located on Dolly Parton Pkwy. just about a mile past the intersection with Old Newport Hwy.
