    Landed my 1st gig at a very small private festival next Saturday, I have been toying with the idea of using my rc30 but only really messed around with it for a couple of days well over 2 years ago. Do you think I should invest my last week of practice time incorporating my pedal or just stick with what I'm comfortable with and save the looper for the next one? Thanks for the video, going to check out your other stuff.

      Hey there, congratulations on your gig they seem to be few and far between this year with everything that’s going off. So my experience is this, I used it for a wedding I was playing so it can work quite easily playing live, however unless your totally confident I would give it a miss trying to Incorporate it with just a week until the actual gig as they can be a bit of a tap dance to get to grips with... I hope this helped and thank you for the support I hope you enjoy the rest of the videos on the channel 😊🤘

    Hello, good video
    Does anyone know if there is a way to bring out the rythm in a separate output?
    As the rythms are very simple, they are really a metronome. If they were output separately from the music they could be used as a sync for different musician playing at the same time without the the metronome being in the main output

For example if you have a saved loop on channel one and another one on channel 20 or 30 but you want to place them closer together so you are not bending down during a performance tapping away until you reach 30. Is there anyway of moving track 30 to say number 2 so you can have you favourite most used loops one after the other. Is this possible in the app? Sorry for the waffle lol . Cheers ian

    I've just started using the same boss looper. The problem that i can't understand is... If i record a track and I want to play over it, It doesn't come in immediatley
    I have to let it roll for a second , hence I miss the start. I have to tap the peddle again quickly sometimes it just sets off the effects, which is really frustrating. have you come across this before?
    hope to hear from you soon. Thanks again for the film.

      Thanks very much I am really glad you thought it was insightful 😊 I would be glad to help. with reference to the overdub not coming in at the same time of the original loop, I think this could be caused by starting the overdubbing to late with the time of the original loop, making it delay.However if this does not fix the problem I would be more than happy to help you fix the problem, you can contact me through the links in the description. I hope it works and happy jamming 🎸🤘😎

    Hi Aaron, loved the video and was very helpful seeing as I’ve recently got this pedal myself, the only thing I can’t get my head around with it, is that for mine at least, the DC in cable is very loose and not very far in and it worries me that it could come out at any moment, is this just how boss designed it or is there a tip for making it more secure at all?

      Hey Duggy 👋 thanks for the kind words! I am really pleased you enjoyed the video! With regards to the DC cable I wouldn’t say mine was loose but I know why you are referring to as it sticks out a little bit more than usual. My only advice would be fix your pedal to a pedal board with a power supply so everything is fixed to limit movement. I hope this helps 👌

    • @aarongreen420
      @aarongreen420  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey there thank you very much, I’m really glad It was informative for you! Great question this is completely possible, so you will need to record your loop into the pedal and save it within the pedal, when you’re sure it’s saved power off your pedal and turn onto your computer. When this is done connect the power lead, 1/4 jack cable and finally a usb cable from the looper and into the computer. When this is done this should now display itself as a drive into your PC/MAC click on that and it will have all your saved audio pieces that you have recorded into the pedal in WAV format for you to do what you like. Be aware of you delete or remove the files then it will remove them from the looper to. I hope this helped and happy looping!

One problem I ran into was I recorded a guitar chord progression on track 1 and was trying to add percussion with some spoons on track 2. • @aarongreen420
      @aarongreen420  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Nick, unsure why this is happening on your pedal, in my experience if the channel volume switches are in the centre there should not be to much of a jump. For example in the video when I was preforming the loop the dB was higher but if you have a look at the pedal when I finish writing the loop and the dB drops because the channel volume switch is 3/4 of the way down making it quieter, however if I brought it back to centre it would of been the same volume 😊 I hope this helps 👍

At the back there is a midi output to hook a mic up to that should do the trick, you also have a knob below to control the volume, sadly it does not have a stand alone channel so it just loops onto of the current trac you k.

      Hey there thanks for the question, in terms of the way it’s shown I don’t think you can change anything in the pedal so it shows the exact date, however you could rename them manually by checking the info on the file on your Mac It should be able to tell you when it was created in there, after you have that just use it to rename it with the correct date as the title. Happy to help this sounds like a timing problem, to help let’s say you are playing four chords in a 4/4 timing always make sure you hit the pedal at the exact same time you started to get a perfect loop, it can be difficult but with some practice it should be fine, I like to play first without activating the pedal then when I think I have it perfectly timed I play it once more and then active the pedal 😊

    • @aarongreen420
      @aarongreen420  Před 4 lety +1

      Great question! I don’t think you could do it without having to play a bit yourself to fill the silence when leaving the verse on one channel to change to the next channel for the chorus, and the same coming out the chorus to fill the silence while you shut off the loop and switch channels to activate the other. However if you have a look at the external footswitch that Boss sell I believe that acts as a separate channel control switch to control the other channel without having to tap dance and fill a bit it in live yourself. So it’s workable but just not as easy as it would be in say the RC300 because on that model each channel has its own Footswitch. If you need anymore help with this you can get in contact with me via the links in the description 😊👍 other than that happy looping!

    1. The 2nd Loop has to conform to the size of the 1st Loop
    2. After you record the 1st loop, you cannot ARM the 2nd Loop to start recording WHILE the 1st is going through its cycle
