No matter what Eddie says, Gareth always likes to hear himself as he finishes peoples sentences and knowing he knows that he is interesting with great questions like "Do you shower before a fight? He might want to shower water for his Gin and Tonic.

Gareth let the guest speak, you don't always have to jump into the conversation with random thoughts to prove you are the personality, even all the Mmms and Ahhs to agree with the guest is just distracting noise. Anthony Crolla does the same when interviewing, im sure GAD has his microphone turned up to 11, he is the Spinal Tap of boxing.. we still love him though.... most of the time

Okay, I wasn't going to watch this, but I'm delighted that I did. What a cracking interview.
Gareth can, in my opinion, come across as too focused on himself and on coming across a certain way. If he can not get in his own way, as was the case here, and have high-quality conversations like this, I'll keep watching.
Modern boxing punditry doesn't have intelligent and non-hysterical journalism as yet. Maybe he can provide that content. I'll be here for it if he can.

Good interview but it surprised me why Gareth didnt ask a few more tougher questions like 'So why did you try and was talking about benn fighting in the middle east instead of saying I cannot promote a fight until your clear' that's why Jordon is good because he will ask.

Great episode G…. Splits opinion does Eddie, but he is very likeable and levels above ALL promoters IMO
GAD gets 90 mins with Eddie, all the potential to dig deep into topics, yet Gareth makes the whole 90 mins about himself, talking over him, not letting him finishing his sentences. Boxing Social you need to have a word or cut loose
Hard work listening with gareth repeatedly over talking and interupting what could have been an absolutely fantastic interview.

I pick up on the fact the wilder fight never happened because they never offered an offer yet when frank said the same Eddie said you are the champion you make the offer .
Great interview. Only wish Gareth would let Eddie express his thoughts completely instead of interjecting with assumptions and leading questions. Great to have a back and forth conversation but let the man finish might as well have a conversation with yourself or better still a back and forth with Ade or Simon.

Eddie is wrong on the Usyk - Fury stuff when he says Usyk only wanted 50/50 in the rematch if he won the first fight, even Usyk's team admitted Usyk was demanding 70/30 flipped in the rematch if he won the first fight. Fury's team offered him 50/50 in the rematch if he won the first fight, Usyk was not interested and walked away. Cannot really blame him, although I think it is clear now that both were waiting and are waiting for the big Saudi bag of money.

I never saw one uppercut by Joshua against helenius and it’s one of Joshua’s best punches.

@@s2mey382 helenius on paper was taller but you need to look at them next to each other. Helenius was similar height to Joshua s as nd Franklin is around 6ft 2 and he didn’t throw uppercut in that fight. He hit klitschko with uppercut that almost ripped his head off and he’s around 6ft 6

@@thembimafu5788 Well, actually, he very much did in the second half of fight. but, I have no idea, as Fury is ducking the fight. however, styles make fights, and I do think Fury's movement and coordination will pale in comparison to Usyk's when compared directly.
Gareth is not a journalist he is in fact an entertainer and I think he knows it.
