  • APEX flow formed ARC-8 18x9 ET30 with 235/30-18 tires rear fitment test.
How will these wheels fit the rear of E9x chassis? Let's find out.
You also have to keep in mind that:
Your rear camber is going to affect clearances.
Other tire sizes / wider tires like 255/35 or 265/35 will naturally have a different / less clearance.
*As soon as I have tires on those 9.5 wheels, I think I will do another video - to show what it fits like without spacers and with 5 and 10 mm spacers.
    Stay tuned.

I may actually do Part 2 of this - test that 9.5 wheel with both 5mm and 2x5mm spacers.

So can I run 18x9 et20 235/40 squared on stock suspension? Might just buy et30 and run spacers if I feel like it, have more options that way. Amazing video btw, thanks alot!

Thanks much! ET30 - safely, ET20 becomes uncomfortably close, in my opinion. I would consider 225/40 tires if I had ET20 wheels.

@@maxsam201mabey I could even buy some et25! Seems like a sweet spot for me, would 235/40 work with et25?

With et25 wheels you get 5mm less clearance than with et30 wheels, but it's a clearance nevertheless. Better than et20. Also, don't forget that not all 235/40 tire are exactly the same thread width-wise, even though they are specified as "235/40".

Would this be the same for e92 lci?

That is a good question. I can only guess it's very close/ the same, judging by oem wheel sizes, but no personal experience, unfortunately.
