Clarification on the "like score" and "favorite score." I tried to explain in the video and with the text at 1:39 and 1:54 but some people still don't understand so I'll put my explanation here too.
These scores are in relation to THE FIRST PLACE cat, NOT to total voters.
If a cat has a 100% like score, it does not mean they got 100% like votes, it means that they got more like votes than any other cat. Brightheart got 1252 out of 1758 possible like votes (the most of any cat), or 71.2%. So she becomes the basis for the formula. So for her score, the calculation would be 1252/1252, giving her 100%. And for another example: Cinderpelt, she got 1087 out of 1758 possible votes. But she is not judged against total votes, she is judged in relation to Brightheart. So her like score is 1087/1252 which is 86.8%.
The favorite score is works exactly the same except the score is based on three questions instead of one, with the formula I use for that being in the video.
By design, there has to be one cat with a 100% like score and one cat with a 100% favorite score. If I hadn't done it this the favorite scores would all have been way too close together (and all under 15%), and mostly like score would be deciding the top cat.

1. Bristlefrost: she sacrificed her place in starclan and her life with rootspring so she could save starclan and the dark forest
2. Alderheart: he is always kind to everyone; always gives cats warm gazes
3. Twigbranch: She is honest and also doesn’t let others boss her around. She also tries to prove her loyalty and brings tons of prey back to Thunderclan!

Bristlefrost is my favorite character too!
My fav cat is Gray Wing. His role as a father figure thoughout Dawn of the Clans was incredible (specifically his relationship with Pebble Heart), the fact that he tried his best to lead after Tall Shadow stepped down temporarily due to Moon Shadow’s injury, his relationships with Clear Sky, Turtle Tail, Slate and so many more characters and he is just in general such an incredible character (I hate that A Light In The Mist blamed him for Ashfur getting into StarClan, that’s horrible character assassination).
Also his death at the end of Path Of Stars broke my heart and it was the first time I’ve ever cried when reading a book.
Wait that would be a retcon, it was yellowfang’s fault, remember the “he only loved too much” line?

I’m a Shadowsight kinda person and I am disappointed that he wasn’t somewhat mentioned in this, but hey, I love Grey Wing a lot as well
Same, he’s my favorite character. I can see why, he’s a newer arc cat and admittedly has some pretty big flaws when it comes to writing/development, but I really the concept of Shadowsight and him as a character generally and would’ve liked to see him on the list.

I love all the cats, like brightheart. But It was a little bit sad/disappointing to not see bluestar in the top 10. Her character development was amazing and her death made WC fans cry, her super addition shows how she’s lost a lot, and shows how her emotions work. The writers made us realize how much we love bluestar but giving us her paranoia which made everyone extremely sad about her paranoia.
This, strange to think the fandom has lost its Bluestar love. Probably my favourite cat!
Its been a LONG time, and I bet most people would see her story as too tragic nowadays. I'm still kind of scared to read Bluestar's SE, ngl.
Bluestar was my favorite cat. And she still is my favorite out of the og cast. I’d say Dovewing and Squirrelflight are my favorites now even though I haven’t finished OOTS. Just from the the content I’ve watched about them, I’ve grown very attached. But I still love Bluestar. She has her flaws but I do think she has a genuinely interesting arc. She’s a very strong cat and one of the best leaders in my opinion. Yes she snapped near the end but she still sacrificed herself for her clan and I would probably put her as my number three just for nostalgia alone.

I love Bluestar's STORY, not the actual cat, personally. She's very good and has a lot of stuff going for her, but if it was based on as if I was another cat, judging her herself, 3.5/10
I'm glad Cinderpelt and Yellowfang made it onto the top ten (not that I'm surprised),
Cinderpelt was such a kind and excited apprenticed before her injury, even once she got hurt and and that she couldn't ever be a warrior, that didn't break her spirit and is a great character.
Yellowfang was such a kind and fun character, she made the books more fun and she was so kind so Firestar (heart). Yellowfang is probably one of my favorite characters!
I'm glad Ravenpaw made it on to, he was such a kind and fun character and made the books have more ✨drama✨ or just more interesting-. TBH, I've read the Ravenpaw' s Path graphic novel like 20 times-

I'm also really glad Brightheart made it onto the list ( not that I'm surprised). Even after her horrible injury that made some of her senses weaker, she still tried and ended up becoming a warrior. She's so sweet and she made a great difference in the books!
I agree with cinderpelt and brightheart but yellow fang is everything BUT kind, like in the first arc she was cool, but when she was dead she was a manipulator, a hypocrite and just stupid. She took away leafpools medicine cat privilege because she had kits…. Even though yellow fang had kits and the only living one KILLED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE?? And leafpools kits saved the clans?? Why should she be punished instead of yellow fang (not to mention she also manipulated squlif and let her feeling get in the way of her judgement when she let ashfur into cat heaven? ) TL;DR yellow fang sucks

If I had to choose my 3 favourites underrated cats, I'd say Whistlepaw, Rosetail and Icewing !

Top 3 for me
1. Needletail. I love how rebellious she is, and how much she isn’t afraid of the rules to do what she thinks is right. I also find her relationship with Alderheart and Violetshine amazing, and although she made a lot of mistakes, she made up for them in the end when she sacrificed herself. She just sorta stood out to me, yk?
2. Moth Flight. I know she’s kind of controversial, but I love how playful and dreamy she was, and found her super édition really interesting. Also, I like the cover a lot XD
3. Hollyleaf. Code-follower turned evil, I love it. She became the thing she hated most when she killed Ashfur. Then she redeemed herself later, too, which was also fun. And she had the most interesting POV in Power of Three, I remember thinking.
Tawnypelt is a close fourth, merely because of the amount of inside jokes my friends and I have about her.

Honestly, Jayfeather is 100% true
He's like my all time favorite character in any of the books. Him being blind is plus(and is the first blind cat mentioned who didn't retire), plus he is also pretty sassy and rude which is unique for a medicine cat. And his attitude overall just brings something to life in the books for me, not only that but he was the reason the clans frickin reunited again. And honestly, Jayfeather is just a mood 😂

Squirrel Flight is now Squirrel Star, her deputy is Ivy Pool! A lot of people say they prefer Ivy pool as the current leader or just to be a warrior. A lot people also Squirrel Star may not be a good cat for the leader role. I don’t mind it all I’m just glad to see her finally become leader and I hope we get a video of who was at her nine lives ceremony or if her son took her to the moon pool!

My top 2 picks for underrated characters are Shadow’Sight and Sol. Both I feel get under appreciated because “oh he’s just another AlderHeart” or “he’s just another villain to move the plot along” but I feel they have a much more prominent impact (not just plot) than other higher regarded characters
yeessss Sol's probably my most favorite villain. I didn't read 7 arc but I'm so excited to learn more about Shadowkit, I think I'm gonna like him.

My favorite character is Brambleberry- she’s criminally underrated. Pre Into the Wild leaders are also the best.

Cinder'pelt- I love her and Cinder'heart so much, she's a great medicine cat and warrior and it's great she got a second chance
Fire'star- come on, who can't love Fire'star?? Some people say he's overrated but I think he's just an amazing leader
Bright'heart- So sweet and her story is so heartwarming, she definitely deserves to be in the top 10!
Yellow'fang- She's amazing, funny, cantankerous and overall a great addition to the books not to mention is a great star clan member!
Leaf'pool- YASSSSS, so glad she is up here!!! Definitely is one of my favourites and I will not hear anything bad about her ❤
Ivy'pool- She slays!! I used to prefer Dove'wing but after she left for shadow clan my opinions slipped. Ivy'pool was pushed to do what she did and resolved the situation that she had caused. Overall queen
Raven'paw- Don't come at me but I wasn't really expecting to see him up here, that doesn't mean I don't like him I just didn't realise how much of an effect he had on the books. It's great that he was the closest characters to pride and that's great for the books :D
Holly'leaf- Such a good character, she helped save the clans and was always there for her brothers. It was definitely expected for her to be up there and I think she slays!
Squilf- I used to think she was overrated but she definitely deserves this spot because she is such a great apprentice, warrior, deputy and will be a great leader. I feel like hers and Bramble'stars arguments got a bit annoying but that doesn't affect squirrel'flight as a character
Jay'feather- I can't say I wasn't expecting this because he is an all round great character and medicine cat without a forbidden romance (except with a ghost and a stick but we don't talk about that)

My top three are probably Thrushpelt, Brambleberry, and Shadowsight (or Frostpaw-- I love them both equally right now). I find myself more drawn to characters who play supporting roles normally with Shadowsight and Frostpaw being the acceptation. In a sense, background characters can be more "modeled" after your own headcanons and ideas of who they were when they are not featured every book. This video was insightful though on what a majority of people's favs are! : >

Alright, first of all, Clear Sky wasn't ableist. He was very stressed and focused heavily on survival, since the mountains did the same, and Fluttering Bird and Bright Stream had already died, maybe even Storm too but I don't think so. Because of this, he viewed Jagged Peak's injury as a threat to his camp. For example, let's say you sell costumes for 20 dollars each, but spend 30 dollars making them. In other words, in his eyes giving more prey away than his camp could hunt (since 1 prey for 1 cat but you would need an extra prey) could threaten his camp. Now, if you think this is unreasonable behaviour, remember he lost his sister to starvation. He's also very used to mountain circumstances where this tactic might have even been used.
If you still think he's biased because Jagged Peak is disabled, then Bluestar is pretty much more ableist. She said that Snowkit could not be a warrior because he's deaf (either her or Firestar but it was still under her leadership), she forced Cinderpelt to be a medicine cat because of a similar injury, and she literally renamed Brightheart "Lostface" just because of her injury.
@Eastonthemoth I never said bluestar wasn't an ableist, but there's a difference from cruelty and insanity. Not to mention, even when clearsky found happiness, he disowns his son and only takes him back when he proves useful. He has no remorse on any of his tribemates and openly decides to start war with little reason. Or even when he killed Rainsweptflower and killed a mother just for being on his territory. Then he feels the need to ask the other groups for help when he's in trouble? Don't even get me started on the entitlement. Lastly, he blinds a cat with a least a little reasoning, so I can somewhat see that. But, keeping Mothflight Imprisoned and when he was openly going to kill Graywing Was the tipping points for me hating him a character.
Everyone else mourned for Flutteringbird and Brightstream, granted everyone mourns differently. That's not an excuse for shitty behavior. And I believe Jaggedpeak had already injured his leg before Storm had entered the picture. If Tallshadow could find room and love for Jaggedpeak and Turtletail, then why is it the opposite for Clearsky?
For the cinderpelt situation, I do feel bad for her cause she still could've been a warrior. Unlike Snowkit, that's a required resource to look out for danger and many other things. So, the probability for risk of danger would be a lot higher, same for Jayfeather. I don't really like how they always handle the disabled cats, though, because Cinderpelt could've made a fine warrior just at BrightHeart is.
@Eastonthemoth In the beginning, I accidently "said even even he finds happiness." That was a mention to Starflower, so that part you can just leave for the bottom if you wish too.

Well, in a way, Clear Sky probably had mental health issues too. Not insanity, but definitely issues. Obviously it's not an excuse, but the paranoid part of him caused him to kill over territory. Paranoia played a pretty big part in a lot of Clear Sky's actions. He also disowned his son because of stress, and also most likely because he didn't want to be reminded of Storm's death. The grief may have also affected his mindset at the time of the decision, since he practically made that decision right after Gray Wing broke the news to him. Paranoia's probably not all he has, also.
And wait what he tries to kill Gray Wing and imprisons Moth Flight? Is that in the last book because I haven't read it since the library holding system is down.
And in the end, you can always choose a morally incorrect character as your favourite. One of my other favourites is Ashfur. Many people like Mapleshade, Scourge, Sol, etc. Clear Sky isn't a villain but same rules apply. I do acknowledge that yes, Clear Sky did bad things, but he can still be my favourite.
On a side note, Clear Sky and Star Flower are adorable together, Star Flower is perfect for him. Before you say "but the age gap", Star Flower has no confirmed age. She could be older than Thunder. Second of all, Clear Sky didn't like Star Flower at all before SHE went after HIM. Also, cough cough Blossomfall and Thornclaw cough cough And before you say "dating your son's ex is weird", it is, but then again maybe there's no bro code in Warriors.

I definitely agree! jayfeather is my absolute favorite warrior cat with squirrelflight just slightly behind. I like plenty of other characters, but these two are the best!

Jayfeather-I mean, who can't love this guy? His sarcasim and humor literally makes my day.
Shadowsight-I just love him. Period.
Hollyleaf-I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!! The Erins kinda messed up her story, like seriously, she thought she was part of the prophecy, tried to kill her mother, then ran into the tunnels and it collapsed on her, and she stayed there for like, 6 books, and she came back alive, AND THEN SHE DIED THE NEXT BOOK LIKE WHAT!?
Bluestar-She's actually a good leader, even though she went mental after the 3rd book, she did die saving her Clan.

Oh my gosh, I should have known 🤣🤣. Jayfeather is everyone's favorite, (other than mine, which is currently tied between Frostpaw and Nightheart) because he's, well, Jayfeather!
Kind of disappointed that Gray Wing wasn't in the top ten, but not surprised, partly because his arc is older and less popular (AND DIDNT EVEN FINISH EXPLAINING HOW THE CLANS WERE BORN), and his tragic death. I just finished reading the DotC, so he is probably number 2 on my list.
Honestly, I am very glad that Lionblaze wasn't on there, he is my least favoritenon villain character in the series, taking Sparkpelt's place after Shadow.
I can see why people like Squirrelflight so much, personally she isn't my favorite cat, but I do realize that most of my dislike for her probably came because of her relationship with Bramblestar, whom is also one of my least favorite characters.
I LOVE Leafpool, she is still one of my favorite characters in the series, even though her arc is long behind us.
Ivypool is also one of my favorite characters, probably because she is an anti hero. (me just now learning about the term, anti hero 😅) Same with Hollyleaf, though she is much more extreme, and is not as high on my list.
I personally don't like Ravenpaw. I love his personality, and how they portray him as the under dog, but then they tried to ruin him with the whole LGBTQ thing, and now I can't even think about him anymore. (Nothing wrong with the people that believe in that stuff, I may dislike it, but I don't hate the people who do it. Just don't take offense at it, I mean none)
Let’s be real, graywing would definitely be here if the fandom actually bothered with dawn of the clans. You’re real brave for admitting the lgtq thing ruined ravenpaw 😭
My top 10 favorite characters are these:
1: Bristlefrost- She gave up everything for everyone in the clans and not just that, but she’s lovable, dependable, kind, and faced some trauma just from not getting to be with Rootspring in Starclan.(I hope Akria’s theory about those two super editions is right!)
2: Ivypool- Yes, she’s edgy and cool and just had some amazing character development but she learned how to be a *real* warrior. She not only showed us stuff about the Darkforest but she climbed to the top and earned deputy! I hope she becomes leader one day
3: Mapleshade- She’s got trauma, betrayal and everything in between, who can’t love her bad girl character persona? Everything with the three cats she killed gives new readers chills when they first see it. She’s got to be a cat to not be trifled with. (I certainly wouldn’t!)
4: Mothflight- She has trauma that I can read over and over. Micah’s death was one of the only deaths in the entire series that I’ve almost cried about. When a cat is mad, sad or just having a strong emotion, I *feel* that emotion, so Mothflights Vision hit me HARD
5: Hollyleaf- I enjoyed reading about her character arc and just seeing M.A.Ps and such about her killing Ashfur and the fire gives me chills. Hopefully she feels better in Starclan now…..

6: Thunderstar- He had a really good Dawn of the Clans arc and he’s also the first leader of Thunderclan! Him and the drama between Clear Sky made his character development interesting and he was fun to read!
7: Frostpaw- Now, know she’s a newer character BUT the way her apprentice life has been made her character really cool! She had to watch her mom get beaten to pulp by dogs and was manipulated by Rippletail and her mother. I’m excited to see what her full name will be!
8: Shadowsight- Poor guy, he just wanted to be a good medicine cat. But instead Ashfur the creep and to come in and mess everything up. He’s a soft cinnamon roll who just wanted his clan to be safe and happy.
9: Briarlight- I felt *so* bad for her! The fact that she even asked Millie to *stop* obsessing over her and not listening is sad, because she knew that Blossomfall was jealous! She definitely deserved the peace she received in Starclan after death.
10: Tigerheart (star)- This was a hard decision! But he trumps over Leapordstar (Who got 11th if your curious). Him dealing with Dawnpelt and Flametails deaths wasn’t ideal for him, but he got back on his paws and had a good family with Dovewing!
Also please remember that these are just my opinions and if you don’t have anything good to say, then please don’t say anything at all.

As someone who is not subbed, but will sometimes watch this channel, I will say that the top two are definately top 5 in the fandom as a whole and not just here. I see and hear about love for them everywhere! Personally, they are 5th and 6th for me.
Also, this poll further supports my "everyone loves Brightheart" saying.

My favorites would be:
1st: Squirrelflight - I’ve read her super edition first and felt something that was tugging me closer. Absolutely nothing can separate me from her. Squirrelstar! Squirrelstar!
2nd: Hollyleaf - She was such a underrated character and I loved her obsession of the warrior code. Killing Ashfur, running away, meeting Fallen Leaves, leaving him *twice*, then dying to save someone in The Last Hope, it just made her feel so much more fun! Maybe Hollyleaf x Cinderheart?
3rd: Sparkpelt - Even though I’m only on AVoS, I know a lot of spoilers and know about her mating with Larksong and her kits Nightheart/Flamepaw and Finchkit (I don’t remember her warrior name). Her grief over the deaths of Larksong and *maybe* Leafpool made her ignorant about mainly anyone!
4th and 5th: Leafpool and Mothwing - Let me get this straight, lesbian kitty-cats are absolutely going to be at least in the top 10. Leafpool was the first to know about Mothwing not believing in StarClan, and did her best to keep it. Mothpool all the way!!
I promise you Mothwing is horrible in Tbc.

Im so happy right now that Ma boi Crookedstar got into the top 20. He is such an underrated character and I loved his book so much.
I loved Ravenpaw, I wish they gave him more time in the books. I also love Jayfeather, because he reminds me of myself. Kind of a grouch, but able to feel what others feel. I hate Squirrelflight with a passion, I don't know why. Her and Brambleclaw were never my favorites. I liked Hawkfrost, Hollyleaf, Leafpool, Graystripe, Mapleshade and her kits, and many more. Some villains are just very well written, while others have a more crappier story, but good design. The top cats of mine have the fortune of being well written and beautiful, I would say.

Vidoes kinda biased, no? If you like akira then you know how to appreciate a character like jay, but let’s face it, a lot of cats have thousands more maps and pmvs then he does. Hollyleaf, maple shade, Ashfur, squirrel flight, ivypool especially all beat him in the aspect of popularity. He really doesn’t get much attention in the fandom besides akira and his viewers. (Also, if you like akira than you hate half these mega popular characters, especially maple shade) Jay is probably the most well written cat in the series but he outlived his popularity a long time ago if you look at the fandom as whole. This is polled purely from akira’s viewers.

As Hollyleaf is my favorite I got extremely excited when I heard her name! I cried so much when she died and I love your vids!
I was surprised Tigerstar I (tigerclaw) wasn't even in the top villains honorable mentions, like he isnt anything special but I assumed the nostalgia would have gotten him a spot instead of scourge
also kinda wish Tree was at least mentioned, he has an interesting backstory and role with the clans, and I havent read the newest 2 arcs but I remember liking him a lot in the rogue series with Darktail.
Glad sol was in the top villains honorable mentions tho! I feel like he would have been a lot higher IF the Erins actually did make Sol come back. It feels like such a missed oppurunity... but maybe it is not too late? Starclan's faith has sorta been weakened (or so I've heard from people who have read the newest series) because of the recent events, so it seems like a good time for him to strike in a potential next series
Anyway I'm just rambling atp. Love the vid tho- I agree with most of these if I were to have a top 10. Ivypool > Dovewing for sure. (Never forgave her running away, always thought that was so irresponsible especially after everything that happened with the clan in the 4th series).

my favorite character definitely is ravenpaw, i'm brazillian an we just have ONE arc thar we can read in our language, that is the prophecies begin, EVERYONE here loves him, the way that he was a important and compreensive character, and how he helped in the series definitely makes him a good character, i definitely love him

This might be weird but my favourites were Lightning Tail and Mudclaw. I can’t really explain it but I really like them. And weirdly Lightning Tail’s death in Thunderstar’s Echo affected me more than any other death.
