I'm going to try this. I was thinking of getting kinesiology tape but I'm sensitive to the adhesive on plasters. I think the ones described as hypoallergenic are latex free but they are going to have some adhesive on! So I think your solution is best. Thank you.

I made 2 different versions of these for my wife's right foot. She has severe hammer toe/claw foot and is a nurse. I'm hoping these help her and give her some relief. Thanks for all of your tips and suggestions.

Nice that a doc is HONEST and gave a simple cheap rwmwdy instead of ripping patients oof like Ledger foot clinic in Killeen Texas!

I will try, but also think about changing your shoe style. You need a shoe with a wide toe box. I found that Lems give me these without the problem of wide heel. I would think that if you try these with your stylish narrow shoe they won’t work. I usually never buy shoes on lone, but after measuring my feet as directed, the shoes fit very well. Only problem, no dress shoe options so far. That is disappointing. I will be ordering these supplies to try.

Excellent presentation. Received the necessary supplies and started making my own toe crest pads, which proved to be very much better and so much cheaper than the commercial versions. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video. My incapacitating toe pain is nearly gone.

I've been buying stuff and searching for ways to try to hold my still-flexible hammertoes in place. What a great video! I want to ask, ... are these comfortable enough to wear inside a shoe? I have custom arch supports, and I'm guessing I would have to have a deep toebox to accomodate this device. What experiences do you know of where people have worn these inside a shoe? Thanks so much. Make more videos!

I ordered these items and tried to do what he did, and it was just hopeless. I could never get a shoe on. It was bunchy. I guess he’s an expert at it. I can usually do about any kind of craft from a video, but not this one.

You can't buy surgitube on amazon, you need a business account and a health care license.

Those "little devices" do NOT work. That's why you're not using someone with hammer toe to demonstrate.

Funny, worked for me and mine was severe. Perhaps you didn't have it positioned properly? It took me several tries but I finally got it right.
