2hp R&V engine

Second running of my 2hp Root & Vandervoort gas engine. This one probably dates to around 1913 or so. My grandfather purchased it from another collector around 1976 and then sold it to another collector shortly after. It's been locked away in that collection for 47 years. I had an opportunity to purchase it recently and jumped all over it. It's one of the nicest original paint engines that I own. #hitmiss #gasengine #antique #JohnDeere #Coolspring
