    One question please, what is a better way to to package fresh pasta for sale? Packing it frozen or drying out the pasta or using vaccuum sealing?

    The packaged attachments are for fettucine and vermicelli? I used what I thought was the spaghetti side on level 6. Seemed like it turned out very thin, almost angel hair. Suggestions please 😃

      Mine says it's Fettucine and Tagliolini. I had to buy the additional spaghetti cutter which is 0.5 mm thicker than Tagliolini. I think it should also be round and not flat like the default cutters which ship with the Atlas 150 but the product hasn't been delivered yet so I'm not sure.

      Marcato 150's come with Fettucine and Tagliolini. You can purchase additional attachments separate.

    I am looking at purchasing a Vintage Deluxe ATLAS PASTA QUEEN Noodle Making Machine by MARCATO but it doesn't appear to have the plastic removable anti friction combs...does that matter? He is selling it for $30 but i want to make sure it will be easy to clean and work properly without the removable combs.

      You can make ravioli by laying down a flat piece of pasta dough, pouring little mounds of filling through a funnel bag in a square pattern, covering with a layer of flat pasta dough, and then using a really tiny rolling pin between the fillings, and then cutting between the fillings. Boom! You have made ravioli without an expensive and wasteful accessory.

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  Před 4 lety

      Glory Chibaby , chinchin is like a cookie, correct? I’d be happy to help. Is the dough sticking? If so please dust the dough lightly with flour prior to rolling it through the roller. If it is too dry and cracking then the dough must be a bit more tender. Add a touch of water to the dough to create a more tender dough.
      Always start off with the thickest setting on the pasta maker. Roll the dough through and then move one notch at a time, passing the dough through each time until desired thickness is reached.
      Hopefully this helps. Let me know!

    How well would an almond flour work with this machine?

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  Před 7 měsíci

      Hi there, great question. You can certainly experiment. Almond flour can be sticky which is a concerning or challenging aspect. You would need to ensure each lasagna sheet is coated with enough flour to prevent sticking.
      Good luck!

      Cooked spinach is usually used for ravioli filling from my past experiences

    • @Consiglioskitchenware

      Hi Laura,
      Roller and Cutter Material - Alloy rollers and cutters instead of nickel, which is used on cheaper brands. Smooth precise operation for the most discerning cooks and chefs.

      I just purchased my Murcato and made my first batch of ravioli which turned out amazing! I can't seem to get my fettuccine to go through without sticking and clumping up in the machine. Would you be able to give me any advice on what I may be doing wrong?!

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  Před 2 lety +2

      @@traceykeating6272 Hi Tracey, thats great to hear! You might need to add a little more flour to the mixture. This tends to happen when the dough is too moist. Here is a simple recipe I have created that can be used as a guide - czcams.com/video/huzPQpfR5-4/video.html

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Delia, you want to start at 0 and pass the dough through the machine each time increasing by 1 number. For lasagna we find the second highest # 8 to be ideal for a final perfect lasagna sheet thickness.

    • @Consiglioskitchenware
      @Consiglioskitchenware  Před 3 lety +1

      Toni Dantonio good question. It all depends on your preference on the thickness you enjoy. I normally stop at setting 7 which is two notches away from the thinnest option (9). Hope that helps.
