Skid plate for Gas-Gas 700 , Husqvarna 701 and KTM 690 . Weight : 1.950Kg, 30 to 40% lighther than its equivalent in aluminium. Revisited design, resistance improved and optimized fitment, this engine guard fills all the boxes ! Made of High density polyethylen plastic 8mm thick, the AXP skid plate offers a complete protection of the engine, the cases and protects the linkage plus the master cylinder. HPDE reduces projection noise a lot compared to alloy, does not undergo déformations and absorbs vibrations. This reference is fits on KTM 690 Enduro R / SMC R , Husqvarna 701 Enduro / Supermoto and GasGas ES700 / SM700.

Or with T Rex crash bars? Really difficult to eyeball this to determine fitment. Would like to go with this skid plate but having already purchased crash bars and I may have to go with another ...

Thanks for your reply. I sent a mail to the address given along with stock photos from T Rex and 3 of my own from my KTM 690. It would be helpful on your website and for your dealers who retail these to know which crash bars your skid plate is compatible with. From the looks of it, the offering from Outback may fit, just not sure about mine. Please publish your thoughts in a reply to this post after viewing the pictures. Thanks@@axpracing

The rear Mount is too weak close near the round fittings, broke Both👎

The rear mount that came with my skid plate looks like it was machined by a first year vocational student. The finish is terrible. The fit in the frame pockets is subpar allowing the skid plate to vibrate in the frame. The rear mounts on the molecule skid plate look much nicer. I am rather disappointed with my purchase.

The rear mounting bracket is badly designed, that 90 degree corner is a failure point that needs addressing
