- During his career architect Jacques van Niekerk has received a lot of interesting briefs - but this one stands out!
The owner of the house has a giant soft spot for cars, motorbikes, and boats. Collecting automobiles is one thing - but storage is another which is why the owner demolished the existing house so that the entire footprint of the site could be built around the garage.
Additionally the five bedroom family home takes full advantage of the Atlantic seaboard views whilst providing privacy from neighbouring stands.
Due to it’s north-facing plot, the residence is in a prime location for sunlight from dawn till dusk. A giant bonsai tree catches natural light and washes it into the charcoal and timber themed kitchen.
More natural light floods into the living area through large sliding doors which seemingness connect the indoor area with the courtyard.
The rooftop comes with its very own bar and therefore functions as an expansive entertainment area from where one can enjoy the sun setting into the Atlantic Ocean.

So sad this show is coming to an end💔 I grew up watching Top Billing. It was an escape from everything! I don't know a soul who didn't dream of making it big and having their house feature on this show.❤️
I grew up wanting to become an Architect all because of top billing, never missed a show. Sad to see it leave our screens.... We still need local shows to showcase South African Design & Architecture, this show must be moved to DSTv it shouldn't be killed off... Lets keep it alive OnLine
