Ace Attorney Investigations 2 Voices (ALL Languages)

- Even though Ace Attorney Investigations' sequel never officially left Japan, a team of dedicated fans took it upon themselves to translate and localize the whole game into English. So now it'd only be fitting to make this video as an addendum to my original "Gyakuten Kenji 2: All Voices" video by also showing off the English voices in this video.

Side note: I''ll admit that I personally feel that this is the best Ace Attorney game ever, with Justice for All taking second place. I haven't played Dual Destinies yet, but until then, those are my top 2. - Hry

Justice for All is one of the best game and Turnabout Big Top is good. Stop shitting on the game beacuse the fandom does so and think with your brain.
T&T sucks except for the last 2 cases.
T&T is great except for the third case, which is only _okay_.
Justice for All is amazing, especially Farewell my Turnabout, but it's no T&T or Investigations 2.

Seriously though, it's okay to disagree respectfully. You don't have to create a narrative where everyone else who doesn't share your opinion is just blindly following the popular viewpoint. For instance, Apollo Justice is one of my favorite games, and Spirit of Justice is my favorite in the series, but I don't hold it against anyone for thinking those games are bad. You can disagree, just don't be a dick about it.

The english translators gave her the name "Dahlia" so that her nickname can be "Dollie" to reference a cancelled fan translation project of T&T where she has the same nickname. If they're willing to do that, I have faith that they're willing to keep the characters' name the same.

Listening to Sebastian's, Blaise's, Justine's, and Simon's comparisons back to back really made me appreciate JUST how accurate these voices were. Sure, some were awkward. But those 4 honestly even sound like they were filmed in the same room by the same people as the Japanese VA's! Also, I don't know why everyone despises Knightley's so much. It's pretty good!

The only voice clip I‘ve ever truly disliked in the entire series was that of Calisto Yew… it sounded like it was being recorded with a toaster…

Why is nobody talking about Simon's fan made voice? I personally think it's as good and fitting the character as Justine's, Sebastian's and even Raymond's. I honestly think the fan made voices actually are better than the japanese ones.
It was well-made to avoid foreshadowing his other side (he said ‘Objection!’ once during The Imprisoned Turnabout) and to allow women in general to imitate his voice (Kay imitates his ‘Objection!’ voice once, and the voices I make for her on my head could match it).

You can easily tell which ones are fan made, but some of them are really good. While Gregory sounds a bit like Goofy, Sebastian, Justine and Ray's are fantastic.

It's mind-boggling how close the two different voices sounded for each character. For some of them, it's like it was the same actor.
Capcom could do a very funny thing and get ProZD to voice Gregory since he's actually doing official VA work now

Assuming the English localization team knows about and appreciates the fan translation, that would actually be galaxy brained. It would be a way to give fans a respectful nod while not copying or ripping anyone off. And it would be perfectly reasonable, since ProZD is a professional VA. The fan translation would almost be like his audition for the role, lol.
Uncle Ray has a pretty hot voice, when he says that you can literally trust him to stall for eternity

I actually gotta love how Simon's voice still sounds kinda meek and shy. His personality did a one-eighty, it comes to show that his act was convincing because that was actually what he sounded like
Sebastian probably the best one. I dunno if its just a coincidence or intended, but his intonation sounds very much like his father, makes a lot of sense for him to 'imitate' his father because on how much he idolizes him, which even the original JP 'Igi ari' doesn't even have.
Knightley sounds abit over the top, but it's pretty good, could use some accent though since his JP 'Igi ari' has one
They're all sounds pretty good, special mentions to Courtney since hers are the one you probably hear the most.
Bottom line, even 'fan dubs' sounds way better than Calisto's

1. I think Knightley's voice fits perfectly to me. Better having an objection sound effect than nothing at all like most of the none main characters in this game.
2. Blaise's objection sounds very threatening and I love it! Again, Debeste voice for Debeste man.

I love how Simon's Objection doesn't change after the big reveal, implying that he naturally has a soft voice.
Edit: So, uh... the game's getting localised. Like, *actually* localised after 13 years in the dark. I am losing my mind but more than anything, I hope Simon's voice is still soft in the official release.
Those were some fantastic choices for english voices.
Knightley's objection is fucking amazing. Justine Courtney sounds like Hermione and Ray is just fantastic!

I really like these. I know some sound a little awkward but it’s not like investigations 1 had the best either. Quercus Alba’s “OBJESHON” comes to mind.
The Japanese version, you can see which one is newly recorded and old by listening to the quality.
Gotta love how Knightley was the only culprit (not counting [MASSIVE SPOILERS], the mastermind behind most of the game, and [ALSO MASSIVE SPOILERS], the culprit of the fourth case iirc) with his own Objection voice, and it even has an accent. Makes me wonder where Knightley actually comes from, if it isn't Zheng Fa. And it probably isn't, considering how Lang doesn't have such accent.

I feel like the voices would be much better if there weren't sound quality problems. Gregory, Raymond, Knightley, Blaise, and Simon suffer from mic problems and thus their voices sound less genuine than the others.
yeah specially with knighley and blaise but its understandable since it was a fanmade and it was from a long time ago (this year its the 11th anniversary of this game so its old)
