- A vid I came up with, to make a fan connection between Judge Courtney from Investigations 2, and our well known unnamed Judge from the Ace Attorney Trilogy.
I thought of adding other judges as well, like the Judge's brother and the Khura'in Judge, but the vid was too overcrowded and I didn't like how it went. So I prefer to focus on the relation between these two.

The judge's flashbacks was a very emotional and haunting scene. I never realised how much bullying the Judge has endured all those years, yet he keeps going. You are a brilliant objection maker.

i'd love to rather have an investigation style spin off but you play a judge and you need to balance the trial between the prossecution and defence maybe with a beginner judge like Woods

@@nguyenxi6846 to he honest, I wish we'd seen more of his moments as a defense attorney. It's cool and all knowing him as the "coolest defense in the west" but we never actually saw why he had earned that title. Missed opportunity imho, as that would make his downfall hit the players even harder

This video shows why franziska is no longer in next games, its because she was charged with contempt of court and assault
I love the idea that the Judge we know is Courtney's mentor.
And that mention of the Themis Legal Academy makes me wish Courtney was invited on behalf of the judges for the mock trial there in DD. She'd definitely be a good role model for Juniper to follow.
Well, it didn't happen in the games but that can always be fixed on Objection lol xD

Glad that the Judge is finally developing a backbone, thanks to Courtney! I always hated how Franziska got away with multiple assault charges, so it felt good to see the two judges use their power to get her to stop whipping people in trial.
Also, I'd say poor Ray, but he deserved the multiple whippings for trying to take advantage of the situation. XD
Oh yeah. I was sort of ok with Franziska's slapstick-comedy-style at first, but it did get out of hand even for AA standards imho. And she never faced any consequences for it :(

Also, I'm probably gonna be flamed for this, but I don't care much for Franziska. Sure, she has her moments, but still, I don't like her.
@@TheMemeExpert42069 I like her tbh. She had a good base as a character. You can see from her body language that she was abused by Manfred as a child (her damage animation literally looks like she's getting whipped herself), to the point where she thinks whipping others is ok. And the fact that she was forced into the prosecutor business from the age of 13 to impress her dad, followed by her bursting into tears when she loses, she definitely had potential.
My main problem with her is that we never really saw any major character development in her at the end of the Trilogy. Even in the Investigations games you see that she's the exact same Franziska we saw back in JFA, with the exception that now she's a tsundere friend to Edgeworth and Wright. Pity.
@@debastiansebeste ... I actually never noticed that. ^^; I'm not very perceptive, so I didn't think too much on the body language nor damage animation. As for her becoming a prosecutor at the age of 13... I can't say much on that because it's been a while since I last saw Investigations 1, but I am currently rewatching it to refresh my brain. Luckily, I'm on Case 4, so it shouldn't be long before I voice my opinion on that.
And yeah, aside from being the tsundere friend, she continues to act all whip-happy, which is, as you said, a pity because I would love to see major character development from her. I may not like her because of her personality, but still.
Also, I won't deny that she definitely had potential.
@@TheMemeExpert42069 yeah. It's just as you said, if she ever returned for AA7, I'd be absolutely happy if we finally saw her openly renounce her father (because she never actually said it out loud) and relinquish her whip. It'd be a major hell yeah moment for me.

Yesss, Franziska slapped down >:) there was that one case where the judge in Trials and Tribulations (I think he was the regular judge's brother?) DID try to take away Franziska's whip, but Miles as the Defense attorney (literally borrowing hospitalized Phoenix's badge) said it was ok, which just confirms that Miles is a bottom and Franziska has big top energy.
And now I want a spin off Capcom fights where it's Franziska and Judge Courtney, Whip vs. Extenda-gavel. It would be LEGENDARY, and the winner gets their next franchise game!

Although knowing Capcom, it would probably be named something like Ace Attorney Investigations 3...

Jokes aside, I wouldn't mind a game with her as the mc to further expand into her lore. It would be a good opportunity for Capcom to finally release an AA game with a female protagonist (which has been long due with how dirty they did Athena)
There is a sprite in AAI2 where both Franziska and Courtney have their weapons out threatening Blaise and I have never been more scared

Gavin does a good job at secretly digging the graves of others, while pretending to be the objective one. I imagine Franziska would lose her badge and Gavin would go all "aw, I tried to stop Courtney but I couldn't, sorry Franziska 😣" xDD

@@varshg4709 the way I thought of it when I wrote it, the only reason Courtney would bring Gavin with her would be to use him as a scarecrow, not to actually have him put forth the Bar Association.. After all, after cooperating with Franziska in GK2, Courtney wouldn't want to destroy Franziska's career so easily in the first place.

Kristoph does not care about other _lesser_ attorneys. As the coolest defense in the west, any abuse they face only makes him look cooler in comparison. Letting your competition be devoured in front of you is peak Kristoph
You know, it was honestly nice to see a Judge like Courtney in the world of Ace Attorney.
I as always was sick of the judge always cowing to the Prosecution devils like The Paynes and the von Karmas, so it's good to know that there are judges who will not bend to their bullshit.
Courtney herself fell victim to Simon's bs with kidnapping her son, but it is true that she showed more backbone than any judge did in the series so far

Hmm. Having played the trilogy, AJ, the 2 Investigations and a little of DD, I think the one with the most L's (at least on screen) is Godot? I mean, I don't remember ever hearing about him winning. Sure he was originally a defense attorney, and he wasn't a prosecutor for long, and all his trials were against Wright. And he lost all of them. So maybe him?
I don't know about side prosecutors like Portsman, because we've never seen them in action tbh. But I'd vote for poor ol' Godot.

I've always wondered as Miles Edgeworth is the new Chief Prosecutor, does that still make Kristoph Gavin the Chief Defense attorney? (or whatever they call the highest defense attorney) P.S, I understand Courtney was here for the purpose of this video, but if the Bar Association and the Prosecutor's Office were observing a trial much like this one, wouldn't it be both Kristoph representing the Bar Association and Edgeworth representing the Prosecutor's Office? I understand the P.I.C is a highly recognized organization with the prosecutors around the world, but wouldn't this criminal court still be under Edgeworth's district in which he oversees as Chief?
Edgeworth isn't yet the chief prosecutor when this vid takes place. Also Kristoph isn't the chief of the bar association, Courtney simply chose to ask him to accompany her as a representative of the Bar Association

That's quite easy. There's this thing called Pairs. You can select it either on top left on the objection maker (says PAIRS, hard to miss it), or by pressing R. It lets you pair 2 characters in the same scene.

Absolutely. Canon says that when the Bar Association members voted for Wright's disbarment, Kristoph was the only member who voted against. I think this proves fully that he was a voting member.

Yes. He has 2 voice clips. An Objection Overruled and an "Order in the court". I don't know where they are from, but they're probably either from the anime, or custom made
