I'm still patiently waiting for Teresa to meet Kaine and Ben. For some reason, I feel like they'll turn into soft big brothers the way Daken does with Gabby Kinney.

This is so weird, but cool to see this nostalgia throwback episode of sorts. The set and sound quality may be different, but the friendship and comedy and commentary is still as great as ever.
I'm stuck in a time warp, watching this in 2021... when it was posted in 2019 (pre-COVID)... when it was filmed in 2015 (pre-Trump). My, how time changes quickly.
When this story first released, it blew my mind. I know they tried to make it canon in The Spectacular Spider-Man but hadn't kept up

I actually like the idea of Peter having a secret sister, someone he could relate to and not feel alone anymore. It kinda works in my opinion.

@@saki3963 They were done poorly. This was done correctly. And I would have been fine with a change in lore and continuity for him to have a sister around.
The POPulation used the quantum tunnel to travel to 2015, to see this episode again.

This story was wonderful and the chemistry between Peter and Theresa was fun and very believable.
And every panel in this comic was a work of art. It almost hurt to look at it was so good.
Finally. The episode that had me find you guys and become a fan. Good job, Sal.

Wasn't this episode of Spiderman the series in the 90's but it involved Red Skull's son and old-timey superheroes.
Despite watching this previously, AND hearing recently Sal mention that he was dusting this off and reuploading it, I was no less confused when I loaded this up and saw the old set. It took me infinitely too long to remember that this was an an older Back Issues. I'm not a bright man. But glad to watch this again!

I remember reading this whole thing years ago at a Barnes & Nobles while waiting for my mom to finish shopping. After that I never saw it anywhere ever again, so I was pretty sure till now it was some sort of waking fever dream I had about Spider-Man having a sister. Good to know I wasn't alone!

As someone who hasn’t seen this episode until now, I thought it was bizarre (like you guys were starting a new spin-off similar to Bat Issues). Reading through the comments, it makes sense now.
Still a great episode, and I’m glad I got to experience it fresh.
I know this is a reupload, so there's a good chance you've already been told this, but that laundry detergent scheme is a real thing that happens in cities. Tide is really expensive for stores and has a low ROI, so a lot of small stores can't afford to buy large amounts of it. People will steal Tide from stores that do have it and then sell it at a reduced cost to small mom & pop stores who are willing to look the other way. At one point, it got so bad that Tide was used as a black market drug currency because of how easy it was to make money once you had a few bottles of it.

I really dislike the long lost sibling never before mentioned trope. That paired with the dumb spy retcon of the Parkers just makes it bewildering to me why anyone likes Teresa as an addition to Spider-man's lore.
