Molto bello, l'intero filmato. Verso la fine si vede una strepitosa Ferrania quando era nel pieno del fulgore. Elio Guerra, nato a Pennabilli, ma trasferitosi a Rimini da ragazzo, è stato l'inventore/costruttore dell'opera agli inizi degli anni '50, quando ha ricreato una ciclopica Ferrania Condor II diventata uno dei simboli della nostra città. Il "monumento" è tuttora molto fotografato dai turisti nonostante questa versi in uno stato assai diverso da allora dopo rimaneggiamenti e restauri inadeguati. Sarebbe doveroso riportarla agli antichi splendori, ma purtroppo pare che per il momento la sorte della grande Ferrania non sia valutata come una priorità... Voglio rivolgere un sentito grazie agli amici tedeschi che hanno realizzato il filmato e a chi lo ha reso pubblico.
The post-war German invasion as a tourist boom on the Romagna Riviera in the 1950s (and subsequent decades ) is proportional to the war invasion they made in Italy in the previous decade. Here in Romagna during the war it was full of Germans, even from my father's and grandfather's house the Germans passed there. And even at the end of the war in 1945 (but Rimini was freed on on September 21, 1944 by a Greek divisions, supported by New Zealand tanks ) and until 1947 there was a prison camp near Rimini, in Bellaria, where an estimated 150,000 Germans prisoners were interned. The Germans knew our areas of the Romagna Riviera well because they had been here before for much less happy reasons! So therefore it was not difficult for them to return, after the war....
Tutto vero ma è anche vero che tornandoci in vacanza si comportavano come i conquistatori ed erano estremamente maleducati ed ignoranti . E purtroppo molti lo sono ancora nei confronti del popolo Italiano !!!
