Ten 2x4 boards in less than 9 minutes with the Lucas Mill 7-23

In this video I make ten 2x4s in less than 9 minutes working at a moderate pace. The wood is Douglas Fir and the mill is a Lucas Mill model 7-23. It has a 23 hp horsepower motor and can cut up to 7.875 x 7.875 lumber. My personal favorite boards to cut with this mill are 2x6s at 12.5 foot length, this size and length seems to be the most efficient with my current setup. (Note: the last 2x4 is not fit for selling but will be used in one of my farm projects, a grow box, or an interior board of a shed, etc.

It really feels good to make lumber instead of just firewood out ones trees.
