X-MAXX IS THE STILL BEST BASHING RC OUT OF THE BOX
Get those new rpm front hubs with over sized bearings, I did the rear hubs and have hinge hardware on the way. On the first run I noticed the bearing dirt shields were popping out so I upgraded to rpm rear hubs and bearing. RC Guy Garage put a post that rpm front hub and oversized bearing are now available. gonna be my next upgrade.

Well can't take the xmaxx being down so I pulled the trigger on the servo already have the adapter hopefully it's a good one

I'm happy with my x-maxx just the way it is. Only upgrades would be my bearings, esc, and pinion..everything else is completely stock and have had know problems. I also have the hinge pins..
my servo stripped in 15 minutes first play LOL....

What punch setting do you use on your Max6 esc on your xmaxx currently? Mine is on punch 3 and keeps on stripping my hot racing gears. Thanks

Rear chasis brace is a must. With hot racing 90mm suspension limiting straps. Body saver washers. Servos go rather quickly. Most opt for a single servo. Im going with dual savox 1211s for very fast turning with wayyy overkill torque in case i add more aluminum parts. The traxxas upgraded aluminum toe links and push rods are very tough and should last.

Hi, I am very new to this and I Have been watching your videos. I am buying my first Xanax 8s this week I am visually impaired so do struggle but need a hobby. Just got my xmaxx. Ordered an unbreakable body and rpm rear hubs, and bumper mounts. Switched to 20t pinion and 46t spur. Any suggestions on better cooling for the stock 8s motor and other servo options?
Just got an erevo 2.0 as well. Planning on dual savox 1211sg black editions. (So know im going for a bit of overkill on the xmaxx as well)

I like using the non aerosol kind. Its alot cheaper, you dont need the narrow straw when blasting the whole body so the normal spray bottle style works great

i would recommend the hobbywing 1100 kv motor, (it is the one that comes with the max 6)
or maybe a TP motor

I wondering if I use WD40 for any RC car, will get better result?
definately won't hurt but I would use GT85 instead. it soaks into the plastic making it less britle, lubricates the bearings and makes it easier to clean as the dirt and grime dont stick as much.

One with a castle creations xlx2 with a 2028 800 kv combo , a third with the castle creations xlx2 2028 1100kv combo .
Which setup do you prefer best for bashing?
@@larsoost3901 I honestly like the castle creations mamba monster x8s paired with the 2028 800 kv motor . Mod 1.5 gears 30/30 . It’s an absolute animal and very reliable. If you plan on jumping while you bash , the stock system geared up will be plenty of fun . 20/50 mod 1 gears ( harden steel )

Maxx is just as strong as it big brother chassis is the same just small and different electrical lay out.
Honestly the best car out the box is Xmaxx as it is very durable and so is the maxx however if u want to spend allot more money to upgrade other cars then check some other of Kevs videos and see which one brings a smile to your face. The car that does that even if it’s not that good you will have fun with it and that’s what it is made for i think I am only 14 .
