The laws of physics don apply to that girl whit a shotgun... Even when i shoot from a normal pistol it rocks me a little what about the shotgun XD
Shotguns actually don't have as much kick back as you think. My first time shooting one, I thought I was going to break my shoulder but turns out, the shotgun fired with less recoil of that of a rifle. Just make sure you wear your ear protection when doing so, it didn't help my tinnitus much XD.
I think the recoil is determined by the size of the pistol though because of the spring not having enough room or vice versa. Bigger the pistol (not like deagle and raging judge), the smaller the recoil. The smaller the pistol, bigger kick back. I got more kick back from a .25 hand pistol than I did shooting a ruger p90. I got even less recoil when shooting my first shotgun.

Standing right in front of an enemy who is looking right at you, yet he can't see you because you are crouched
Unrealistic quicktime glory kills (instantly and silently killing an enemy by moving his head slightly)
Enemies taking ages to start firing at you
Enemies standing still in the wide open completely ignoring cover
Throwing knifes are stronger, more accurate, and can penetrate body armour better than a 5.56mm round
Wooden table protects against any round even 7.76 or even 50 cal
Enemies know you are trapped in a room with no exit, yet never think to throw grenades in, or to surround the room; instead they wait to be picked off one by one
A Hellfire detonates less than 5m away yet you just get knocked out
