- This video is a quick review/overview of the Coach boutique/retail notebook as well as a comparison of it with the outlet version. Overall, I do like both versions, but I would definitely recommend the outlet one. After all the discounts, I ended up getting it for about $64 CAD, which I think is a great deal, and really good value for what you get.

This was extremely helpful. As a lefty, if there are spirals I prefer to write on the left side so the spirals do not get in the way. However your point about the boutique version not sitting flat on the table due to the turn lock would be a deal breaker for me since that is the side I write on. I really like the cute little turn lock but if I do buy one, I will need to get the snap version from the outlet store. Thanks for the video!

This was super helpful. Was looking for something for notetaking that fit an A5 refill and I love the coach canvas from the outlet.

Thank you for this review and comparison. I haven't bought a Coach notebook yet. Do you know if it can accommodate an A5 refill? How is the paper? Do you think it would be good with fountain pens?
Hi! I have A5 notebooks and they fit in these covers. Someone else previously commented that their Leuchtturm1917 in A5 fits! The paper is a decent thickness for either option. I normally use muji pens, so not sure about a fountain pen unfortunately!
@@jaekyl Thank you. LV came out with a gorgeous notebook cover that was a collaboration with a Japanese artist and the cover is slightly too small for an A5 notebook.
So disappointed there's no pocket on the inside cover. I was curious since the coach website doesn't show the inside so thank you for doing review

Do they actually fit a5 notebooks? I have a older Coach cover and it only fits 8 x5, just about a quarter of an inch smaller in height than standard a5 size. So its very difficult to find a notebook to replace into the cover. I'm wondering if the new ones are made to fit a5 and that they changed the dimensions for these notebook covers. 🤔
Ohh they must've updated the size then! The actual notebook that comes with the cover is 210mm x 150mm to be exact, so A5 will fit!
