Nobody can become financially successful overnight. They put in background work but we tend to see the finished part. Fear is a dangerous component, hindering us from taking bold steps we need in other to reach our goals. you have to contend with inflation, recession, decisions from the Feds and all. Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

I am a retired high school school teacher. I had a student in class that was extremely motivated to start his own business. He started selling bicycles in his basement and then proceeded to own a ski shop. The business went bankrupt, but that didn’t stop his enthusiasm. He was determined to succeed. You mean Mike Rubin, the CEO of Fanatics, the bane of every true sports fan who likes quality merchandise? Hockey fans are now outraged that the NHL is switching their jersey production from Adidas to Fanatics because the quality always goes down significantly. These billionaires become billionaires because all they care about is themselves and money, and it shows. There are more important aims than making a ton of money. I suspect very few if any people that wealthy are truly content in life. They’re parasites.

As an owner of a few businesses, I feel the need to temper her message a bit before people run out and buy inexpensive businesses. Sure, it is possible to qualify for a loan to invest in a small business, but success is SO much more than "buying" businesses. You actually have to run the business. In a perfect world, you have that ideal hard worker that is willing to run it for you. That perfect employee who is willing to work themselves to death so you can capitalize on owning the company that they run. But the world isn't perfect. Businesses fail as the economy shifts. People can lose big. And, for most of us, we don't have that perfect employee who wants to put in all that work for zero equity. So, then the business is your responsibility. Compound that with more businesses owned...
My point is that it's not as simple as a loan, a needy seller, and some hustle. It's mostly about having great people to run it all for you.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventuality, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

Something that resonated with me is what Codie said about outgrowing people and becoming somebody who the people that loved her (and whom she loved) didn't recognize. And Steven, the thought of people saying "come back down here with us" is potent! I think when people who are interested in self improvement, emotional intelligence and deep dives into various facets of life have people in their lives who, in fundamental ways, remain stagnant, even if those relationships were or are significant, we often have to face that the relationships will inevitably change. The weight we give those relationships can mean the difference between acting out of fear and acting out of respect for our authentic selves. I see that a lot of depression and other mental and emotional issues stem from "loved ones" giving advice to others when, really, as Codie says, that advice is only in line with what they see possible for themselves, not for others. Far too many people are pushed down paths that are not meant for them. Some of us, myself included, spend years or even decades trying to reassemble ourselves feeling we've wasted so much time and energy in the wrong areas (careers, cities, relationships, etc.). I don't remember where I first heard it, but I think of this quote a lot: "If you don't design your life, someone else will do it for you." That should be a pretty scary thought for most people, because nobody knows you better than yourself - not your teachers, not your guidance counselors, not your friends, not your family. If you struggle to know yourself enough to make some hard decisions, one book I found really helpful was How to Find Fulfilling Word by Roman Krznaric (via The School of Life). Do the exercises. :) You could also take a Birkman Assessment which can be pretty revealing. Hope everyone out there is doing ok today.

But anyone can do it right? These kinds of casts are so hollow because they really only apply to people in the right place with the right resources and relationships at the right time. How is anyone expected to take additional debt that could cripple their family finances when they have kids and a mortgage and high food costs and both parents work full time. How the F does someone in that scenario do any of these steps when there’s not even enough time in their day to even relax. She was just about to say how much money she was working with when she started but he cut her off and that’s frustrating. Obviously she already had a ton of money since she built something and did billion dollar deals, but you’ll notice in these types of talks, they almost never talk about how much cash they were starting out with. If you have enough in the bank to sustain you for five or 10 years while you build your business, that’s a lot different than if you have to drain your life savings and put all your chips on the table. You never ever ever ever ever hear advice for the types of people who need it. People with money and connections don’t need this advice. It’s needed by people who are looking to try and acquire those things. another person commented below that “those people are out there. Just go meet them” or whatever. Do I stand on the street corner with a sign? If you don’t come from an environment that’s full of successful people or entrepreneurial people then how do you get to meet those people? Everybody gives you steps three through 10, but never one and two.

Getting back on your feet (for men and women) can be very difficult. I’m forever grateful that my business that I created allowed me financially to make that decision. It was a pivotal moment for me. The year of cocooning on my own was also healing. I didn’t have the means to buy my own place, but pet sitting, staying in Airbnb’s and visiting friends and family strategically allowed me my own spaces (always trying to give as much as I received). Credit score is not something used in all countries though. In France, they determine if you are eligible to get a loan (e.g., to buy a house) based on the ratio between your salary, your expenses and your savings. Basically, if every month you 'burn' all your money, you're perceived as riskier than someone earning less but consistently making deposits to a saving account. I feel in the US people tend to buy things they don't need with money they don't have... The only times I feel one should need a credit is when buying 'big' things (house, car, etc.). Not for a TV. I’m 26 with over 800 credit score, time was put into that to build it up by *VRI TOKEN*

A mentor can make all the difference in your life. Mine certainly did. It's just a matter of meeting successful people, listening to them, serving them well and taking advantage of opportunities when they appear. When they challenge you to read a book and take action, DO IT. The other thing is "be an A player." Don't be lazy.

I was severely ill for a couple days and didn't even call into work or talk to my family or anyting. I went in a few days ago and the boss was all pissy and told me there will never be a raise in my future that I think I'm above everyone else but then said he really needs me. So I quit I'm freaking done. And already I have another job making twice as much money and I'm pretty much booked for handyman work at $45 an hour in my extra time. Basically if you're in a job when they're only going to give you tiny raises and s*** just go do something that you know how to do and charge people for it. One major problem right now is that nobody can find any people to do handyman type work. In fact in my other side business people are extremely grateful that I even called him back. Everybody wants to be a damn landscaper but if you are reasonably intelligent you can teach yourself a skill. For instant I just woke up one day and decided I wanted to learn woodworking so I spent about four grand on bice tools and now I am pretty much professional woodworker. Another skill that pays $$$. Not to mention I'm actively involved with trying to close real estate deals with seller finance so one of these methods or all of them combined is going to make me multiple times more money than I could ever do it a day job!
Hang in there. Sometimes it takes getting out of your comfort zone and being forced to really hustle to improve yourself to ever take a step forward.

30 minutes in and the one thing she hasn’t said was you need is good people skills. It’s not as easy as she’s making it out to be. She is clearly a personable person who has the ability to persuade someone to sell their business. Also helps that she’s from a world where she understands business lingo and make deals

She says sales is a ‘fallacy’ when her entire empire is built around the fact that she’s a superb salesperson. My sales are top tier and all I do is be the people person that I am to assist a person in spending money on the product or service I feel is best for them.

Legit criticism. I believe anyone can become decent to good at sales with the right training, mentoring and mindset. However, not everyone can become great or genius level excellent at it, and furthermore, one might not have the right personality or temperament to enjoy it even if they become successful at it as well.

In minute 56 Codie talks about how "most millionaires and extremely successful people want to help you up when they observe that you are hungry paired with the ability and willingness to take action." This really resonated with me! I am eager to learn from people who know what is behind the curtains.
As a college student, I am extremely driven and hungry for my next steps and absorb content like this CZcams video daily. My question is What abilities or actions are considered necessary to receive that personal mentorship from successful millionaires? How can I personally get my foot in the door and make a difference?

So thankful to have listened to this podcast (as if I don’t listen to them all). Codie Sanchez (never heard of her before this) resonated with me so much. She gave great advice and motivation for a divorced, starting over, women. When it’s so easy to feel like your doing it wrong, and feel unable to succeed. This video, like many others, reminds me to not give up, to pivot, and connect with people that I might not have.

“I was unemployable because I wanted to work for myself.”
Gosh, this hit me where it hurts. I crave freedom and malleability to the point it hinders my job performance. Although I’m doing well in my career now, maybe I should take a leap.
Also nice seeing another woman take that leap, I feel like we’re conditioned by society to be meek and NOT take risks-heck, I’m still told that you should never take risks, play it safe, etc. I’ve been told that making the first move on my fiancé was “disordered” by authority figures: “women don’t do that, there is something wrong with you”. With it or without that in mind, she is so inspirational. Also, damn he finds good people to interview!

Yes, but first invest. PLEASE invest first. Mutual funds or ETFs or any sager investment to start with, PLEASE invest first. If you do, you won't have to worry SO MUCH about being SO SUCCESSFUL. You can fail a couple times and then take whematever profits you make and invest them into the assets. That way, the "leap" can be more smooth.

Every person nay saying is just trying to keep you out of the game. If you let them stop you... It's much easier to keep going when you can see the person behind the curtain is a scared kid who can't stand to see someone else get the success they're afraid to go after or lose. The strongest person is the one who has mastered their weaknesses and accepted their fears. Don't be put off by them. Also, please do look critically at the content but make your own decisions about what does and doesn't work for you. I really hope you stay inspired and keep going.

    Key takeaways from this podcast
    1. You don't need competence in a business before buying the business. But you need to know how to find people who have the competence.
    2. Sales is a myth. You can only sell to someone who has the need to buy.
    3. Money is psychological, and it is perpetuated by our surrounding eg social media.
    4. Break the frame. Try to reduce the timeframe of your goal and compensate it with adding more resources to achieving the goal.
    5. Seeing behind the curtain: try to get exposed to information/tactics as much as you can. People who play the money game end up earning much more than people who "work harder".
    6. You should structure a cold message is in the following way: do your background research, acknowledge that you can't pay for the person's time(appeal to their ego), offer to the person what you have, then make a your request.

I feel one Of the greatest challenges that we first timers face in the ma rket is that we end up losing all we have, making it difficult to find ourselves back to our feet.
