“Unwanted” and “puppies” do not belong in the same sentence!
I have an unwanted limitation on the amount of puppies I want to get 😂
Puppies are a large undertaking, most people don't have the ability to take care of them; especially if they're already struggling with their other dogs.
It's a crime against humanity to say unwanted puppies.

I know, the sweet girl. Imagine having the worry of feeding and sheltering all those babies outdoors in the cold on 'the property' of cold-hearted trash that would post such a hideous ad. So glad they are all in loving homes now. Shame on those people.

@@ytaylor276 Thanks for saying what I was thinking. I'm grateful the person gave them a chance at a better life. So many monsters do terrible things to innocent animals but this person looked for a solution and other living arrangements for them.
At least the “person” who made the unwanted puppies post didn’t harm them, and in fact told people who wanted to help where they were. That’s more than a lot of people would do.

I'm assuming the pregnant dog was a stray and didn't belong to the homeowner. What do you expect them to do? Adopt all the puppies?

Exactly! My baby girl was tossed in the trashcan at the ripe old age of a few hours old.

I'm guessing the mom showed up and gave birth. Not wanting the animals, but not wanting to just throw them in a shelter, they posted about them. Though maybe I'm giving them too much credit. who knows?
Looks like either a farm dog that wandered into town to give birth, or possibly a rez dog.

I simply cannot foster dogs ( physically a little tiny bit disabled). What I can do is donate a little bit of money every month to my "local" good mob. RSPCA. Via a umm a credit card thing set to automatically do it. When a few people do this it really helps the charity pay their bills. Perhaps you could do similar ? Or maybe if you are lucky and live close volunteer a few hours each week ?

I have to say at least they were well fed and the poster waited until they were fully weaned. Those two things don't always happen, let me tell you as a rescuer myself.
So although it was incredibly dangerous to post them like that because who knows what could have happened, at least they were healthy.

I would gladly put that man on a post that says: "Unwanted human". How lucky for the babies, what wonderful people came in their way.
We need to show kindness or they won’t even seek help from someone. We are lucky this family didn’t get dumped on the side of the road.
Relax, it seems as though the pregnant dog was a stray and showed at a random house to give birth. It is not the responsibility of the homeowners to take care of random animals. They could be allergic to dogs or don't have the means or time. Putting out an ad might be the bare minimum of action, but at least they did something. Not doing anything would have led to the puppies starving or freezing.
@@jacksonwillbert1352 it also didn't look as if they were starving....is it the bare minimum, yeah, have I seen people do worse, for sure. At the end of the day everyone is happy and those puppies weren't dumped in a river, I consider that a win.

If we all feel like you, if we don't feel that is our responsibility, then animals are in real trouble. I have not much, I struggle for money every day, I don't have the time, still I have 20 cats and a big dog. All strays.

It’s free if you foster in Australia, unfortunately not generally free (and it should be). But it is low cost for pensioners and unemployed, is there a low cost option in Canada?
Most rescue places neuter their animals and it is included in the price, if the pet is too young. UK.
@@littlecatfeet9064 Not by law, no. And in my province, it's legal to say no pets when renting so every moving day there is a wave of abandoned animals. Not sure about the other provinces.

Yeah it’s still bad. Imagine bad people came and got them instead of a rescue organisation. These people could do worse than giving them to random strangers online, yes, but they also could do much, much better than this like bringing them to a shelter or contacting the rescue organisation directly. Stop praising them for doing the absolute bare minimum.

not everybody has the physical, mental, emotional, and financial capacity to take care of several dogs much less puppies. glad they made a facebook post so somebody who cared about them could get them.
edit: not everything in life needs to be sugarcoated. the message they posted was concise, to the point, and probably got the point across faster and more urgently that they did not want the dogs because of the way they worded it.
If you can't afford to spay/neuter a pet or vet care, then don't get a pet. Very simple.
@@Schulz1362 Correct but that is assuming the mom even belonged to the person who made the post. If she just crashed on their property and had her babies and the person can't possibly take care of them, making the post was still the best solution they could've come up with.
Regardless if they have the means to care for them, they could have chosen to word their post differently. "Puppies and Mom free to loving homes" sounds much better (and caring) than "Unwanted puppies".
“Unwanted puppies. Get them off my property”, is not the sign of a compassionate or caring person. They could’ve taken them to a shelter themselves instead of just posting something on Facebook. They might’ve ended up with someone who could’ve mistreated them or they might’ve been placed in a lab somewhere. These pups were lucky.

My favourite dog breed is bull terriers. So cute with their triangle eyes and heart shaped nose
I also have an affinity for bull terriers, especially the miniatures. When I was a child I read 'The Incredible Journey' by Sheila Burnford (it was made into a movie in 1963) and there was just something about Bodger, the Bull Terrier in the group. They say we are drawn to pets who look like us and if I was a dog, I would probably be a mini B.T.❣

It kills me that they were listed as "unwanted puppies." It kinda goes to show the heart of the person who posted that. Instead of writing something even remotely caring like "Puppies I can't take care of" or "Puppies in need of a new home" they were just "unwanted."
The look in their little eyes makes ME want them all and I'm a long way from Winnipeg. How anyone could have those little sweeties right outside their door and not only not want them, but leave them outside in the freezing Canadian winter is beyond me.
I'm so glad they were all rescued, along with mama, and given the best lives they could ever have dreamt of!
I'm just glad they got the mom, too. No one deserves to live like that.
I drove rescue transports until my vision became too bad for driving. Rescue is the most heartbreaking - and rewarding - thing I’ve ever done.
