Akame ga Kill - Rise

And here it is, my first AMV using an actual Anime! Before you guys judge by the title, this is NOT another Akame ga Kill AMV using "Rise" by Skillet. I try my best to limit using songs that have been used multiple times in multiple AMVs even though I do have the option of doing my take. If you are by chance a wrestling fan, you might remember this song as one of the theme songs for WWE WrestleMania 31 (which I attended live) and if you followed my history closely, I have a pretty good track record of using audio made by WWE or used by WWE in their Pay Per View events in my videos (ex: FFXIII Lightning Tribute - Let's Light It Up and Commander Shepard is Just a Sexy Spectre) and that tradition continues here. Last year, I put my long, lingering beef (issue/feud) with Anime to rest and welcomed it back to my life with open arms. Watched a couple of Anime, attended Fanime this year, and now uploading this AMV. All is forgiven now. Yes, I've watched Attack on Titan, Sword Art Online, and Kill la Kill, but Akame ga Kill was probably the first Anime that I uncovered since coming back where I didn't need a third person to provide me background information about it. It just flowed in naturally and I absolutely enjoyed it. I am aware there are those who don't like it in general and don't like it because it didn't follow the manga. I'll say this, I did catch on with the manga and yes I agree, the manga is better and it's paced a lot better, although it is really slow like one chapter is released per month or something. As for the dub on Toonami, it could've been a lot better, but it's tolerable at times and some of the voices are decent. Anyway, enjoy the video.
