- After 40+ years in Snohomish County I'm moving up north to Whatcom County. An opportunity came along that I couldn't pass up. I will be living adjacent to a runway and have my own hangar. It should be official in early 2024. I can hardly wait! Lynden is a small town with a strong Dutch influence. It is located just 4 miles south of the Canadian border.

I know that scenery! I fly regularly out of CYCW(Chilliwack) to Victoria via Whatcom VOR and fly right over the airpark a lot!

um, the kids aren't allowed to play outside. like i would never live on a runway. like who does that? i love airplanes, big time, but yeah not living at an airport.
