I am absolutely a rookie at using our Kubota SVL75-3 Tracked loader Skid steer. One of the things I am currently working on is improving the logging roads and access trails in the forest farm.
The grading on the trails and roads is critical to control erosion
It is really difficult to feel the angle I am at as a new operator. Experienced operators can probably sense it within a half a degree. I am still at the point where I may feel it's 1 or 2 degrees to PORT when its really 1 or 2 degrees to Starboard. This Inclinometer or Clinometer really helps show more clearly what the grade is. Low cost accessory from Amazon.
I debated to have it low or high. In some regards if low it's where you are looking when grading, but I also wanted a clear view, so I put it up high... for now
