    I'd check your pressure relief valve down under the 3 point controls. That tractor should have no problem lifting that mulcher

    How are you tonight Rick? I worked on these tractors for years and have all of the parts on hand to fix them. It might be the relief valve, I have already disassembled them, cleaned them and reassembled them and set the relief valve to wherever I want it. Just need a impact driver with a good straight bit to loosen up the staked screw on the end. It takes 1 1/8 socket to remove the relief valve from the RH seat support. I use my hydraulic flow rator to check the pressure and flow of the pumps. The main pump is on the LH side of the rear end on the bottom below the brake assembly. Sometimes the hydraulic pump mounting flange blows out the o-ring and gasket and will by pass the oil flow and pressure right back into the rear end and won't have any lifting power for heavier stuff. It's easy to remove the pump, just drain the oil out of the rear end, take out the pump flange bolts and pull the pump out and inspect the gasket and o-ring. If that looks good, grab the drive gear on the pump and see if you can wiggle the shaft at all. If you can get the shaft to wiggle, the pump is worn out and bypassing oil past the gears and housing. I already had the seals blown out up under the top rear end cover for the 3 point and it will by pass the oil and not have any lifting power for heavy stuff. It seems like the tractor is getting air into the hydraulics because they sound noisy. Is it sucking any air through the filter cover gasket or is the cover warped allowing air to be drawn in? There is also a o-ring seal on the round tin cover the seats against the rear end housing that the filter goes up against. Bring it to northeast Iowa and I have hydraulic pumps on hand and relief valves, gaskets and o-rings or I could make a road trip up there and drink some beer, lol! If you have any questions, I can walk you right through it and save you a lot of time, you can call me at 563-379-1456 if you wish.

    The remote spools are under the seat if you need to get to them. Or check the pressure relief valve, it might be bypassing.

  • @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin
    @GosselinFarmsEdGosselin Před 3 lety +2

    Ok bud, does the loader run off the other remote? (Looks like it)
    Does the loader work correctly??
    If so, it's in the valve.
    Pump is 12gpm, relief valve should be set at 2,000psi.. plug a gage in, see what you have..
    It's lifting everything else, just not the cultipacker... Maybe the tractor is fine?? How big is the cylinder on the cultipacker? New ones have at least a 4" cylinder, a lot of the older ones had a 5 or 6 inch diameter cylinder because of the lower pressure Hydraulics on the older tractors...

    @scrotiemcbogerballs8286 Před 3 lety +2

    Looks like your pump is out on the 756 probably has a oil ring messed up and the pump is bypassing internally that’s my guess
    Have a great Easter weekend buddy thanks for sharing

    That tractor has more than enough hyd. power to lift your cultimulcher . The flow diverter valve which diverts some hyd. Pressure to power steering may be stuck ,as your power steering seemed to be good.

    Rick, first thing I would do is if it doesn't work on one side, sit the loader down just pop the hoses off that go to the loader and swap the hoses around that's the first thing that will single it down! Good luck!! Not sure on them ih tractors if they have a spot to turn the hyd pressure up!?

    Something is definitely wrong in the tractor somewhere because it would lug down I am not sure I would have to look at it in person but your hydraulic pressure might be wrong with them I would get a book and check your pressure that could be a problem I had the same problem with my d17

    put a bigger cylinder on the mulcher , If everything else works. I could here the engine pull down when you were trying to lift it, the hydraulic system can't be too bad. I think there is a priority valve for the brakes & steering that tends to give problems on some models of Internationals.

    I think you have a bypass issue. It may not have the power but my 856 has enough power to lift a big 3600 jd plow that's a 5 bottom 18" plow and thats a drawbar plow. If you can't find the legs to drop the loader you can always fab new ones but the 756 is running great

    Man I love that international bud you might be able to get more lifting power out of it if you put a bigger hydraulic cylinder on the cultimulcher that’s just a long shot not saying it worth spending the money on a cylinder I would just say fuck it and run that behind the other tractor but I don’t like spending money on stuff either lol.
