  • Let's chat vision correction! I haven't heard many people talk about ICL (implantable collamer lens) so I hope you find some value in hearing about my experience getting this surgery done in Seoul, South Korea.
    Thank you to the folks at B&VIIT Eye Center.

    It's good that the ICL procedure allows for updates if necessary. I have noticed that my prescription has changed over the years.

      I really liked that aspect! For lasik idk how much they can keep shaving down your cornea 😆 they could also replace the lens with a cataract one if need be!

    Thanks for sharing your experience with us! Do you see any halos around lights? If so, does it cause you problems driving at night? Anyways, enjoy your new spectacles-free life!

      No problem! I still see halos. Hoping it will go away but idk, for some people it does after a few months and for others it never does 😭 having astigmatism already made me reluctant to drive at night since the lights get fuzzy and streaky, so the halos don’t add that much more disturbance than there already was haha

    Hello, so glad your ICL experience was good. If you don't mind me asking, who was your doctor at B&VIIT who performed your ICL surgery?

    How many diopters of your glasses? Do you have astigmatism?

    Hi! Did they allow you to have lash extensions? How long can you not wear make up? Thank you!

    • @franklinthewoman
      @franklinthewoman  Před měsícem

      Hi! When I asked about lash extensions they said it was fine but I spaced my appointments out longer than usual just in case. You shouldn’t wash your face or wear makeup for the first 3 days after the surgery. I used baby wipes to clean my face but avoided the eye area
