01 - 1934 AMT Ford Pickup Model Build

Since my retirement I've gotten back into model building. After some practice, and getting back up on the curve of new techniques, I've started building a 1934 Ford Pickup. This AMT kit had some much flash on it that I had to do a video to vent a bit about it. My grandfather had a pick up similar to this one. I'm not sure if it was a 1934 because I was very young, but when I saw it, it immediately brought a memory of seeing one in his driveway and my dad and I going to junk yard, getting a headlight for it and then installing the new (used) headlight on his truck. I plan to build this as I remember his pick up.

If you are referring to my complaining about the amount of flash on this kit trust me, everyone who has ever built this kit has complained about it. All kits have some flash; however, this AMT kit was almost all flash. Who wants to spend more time cleaning flash than building the model. It's a nice kit when built, but we all hope that AMT will get some new molds for the next release.
