When it comes to goals, you have to grab on to them and hold on tight. There are so many inspiring things you have done for others to want to follow in your footsteps. It doesnt have to be tennis, it could just be being successful in their lives and using your journey as an example. I can tell that you love and are loved! Venus, continue to be strong! 😘

Hey Venus, you're probably going to overlook this comment but I got diagnose with Sjogren's syndrome in April 2022. I did not know April was Sjogren's awareness month. This revelation is new to me and I am still processing it all. My doctor actually told me you was diagnose with it. It gave me some relief because I see how active you are and what appears to be living a "normal" life. Anyways, thank you for sharing your diagnose with the world. I am praying for the both of us. Thanks for the update Vi. While I definitely miss watching you play, it’s been so interesting to see all the different experiences that you’ve been so generous to share with us. I have to say when I saw you and Serena open the Oscars, I was so overjoyed, ( and like you emotional) for you both, because it was such a clear example of how you both have transcended your sport. For so many years I felt that you both never truly got your due, in spite of all your stellar accomplishments. The excellence of the movie King Richard, and how it showcased your lives, (especially yours), and the two of you opening the Oscar’s seemed a culmination and finally an acknowledgement of all your contributions. I’m so glad you both got to have and enjoy those experiences. Yet at the same time I know you have so much more to give, and I look forward to seeing it all. For anyone who hasn’t seen the movie please watch it! Even if you aren’t a fan and don’t care a hoot about tennis, it’s a really entertaining movie with so many great lessons.

I am so happy that you keep yourself busy doing good things for others and being able to do things for yourself that you like to do. I have kept up with your fashions since I first heard you were studying that. My doctor told me long ago to live my life inspite of how I feel. He said do not let your illness live your life. You are a wonderful person Venus and I am so happy for how you live your life and all of the great things you are doing. Your videos are helping other so very much and we thank you.
