- Nissan qashqai +2 front windscreen wipers won't turn off, they operate randomly and stop everywhere sometimes in the middle of the windscreen or some time to lef or right side of the windscreen, the diagnosing procedure is shown in this video, this video is a tutorial video diagnosing the front windscreen wipers malfunction.

This is excellent thank you so much for posting. Obviously this a common problem with Nissan wiper motors. My X Trail (or Rogue) has just started doing the exact same thing. Interesting timing given we’ve had flooding rain for months.

Is the wiper switch easy to remove can you change it with out removing the steering wheel
I have the exact same problem on my nissan Xtrail t31 Dci, wiepers just stop mid point anywhere and at times refuse to work. So If I replace motor assembly. things should be ok.

First, it has to be proven if your wiper motor assembly connector has the same problem as it has in this video.
Thank you for your video, I have the exact same problem with my Qashqai 2012. Im not able to fix this myself so what would be the solution in short? Do I have to get the wiper motor replaced or is there another solution?

If the problem is the same as you saw on the video the only solution is to replace the wiper motor assembly with good quality one, as you saw in the video the motor unit had been replaced but with poor quality parts as the feed back signal wire to the BCM was not making contac (loose contact) so the BCM reads this as open circuit so when contact between the signal wire and motor assembly were established the wiper operation was stopped with wipers operation swith off, and when it wasn't established, wipers arms were moving eventhough the operation switch was off.
@@stanhopeautorepaircentrewardak OK Thank you, wiper motor is original from manufacturer here as it has never been replaced in 2012 model. But the symptoms are the same as in video, wipers go when switched off and will stop in mid operation without switching off.

Is there any chance, we can see the final fix once you have fitted the new motor ? Or did the customer not go ahead with the repair ?
Unfortunately i did not get the chance to repair it as my customer was the garage who had made the mess and the garage wanted to make me victim of their mess, as the wiper motor was replaced by them and did not cure the problem on first time repair, when i diagnosed the wiper system, they wanted to know what the malfunction is before going ahead for the repair, but i didn't want to reveal that to them because i knew that, once they know the malfunction thye are going to cancel the repair and enstead they will do they repair themselves, and on the other hand the car was here for one week because the garage didn't want to share the miss repair with customer so finally the customer got angry with garage and terminated the repair and the garage had no choice other than not to go ahead for the repair and the garage suddenly called me to put everything back on and were going to take the vehicle back from me because the customer was too annoyed and angry and doesn’t want to go ahead for the repair. And in the end they took the car with out repair and i didn't tell them what they malfunction (problem) was?
