    Driving cars and trucks around town keeps us as humans stressed in many ways. Using scooter and other small mobile vehicles brings about a slower more relaxed pace, allowing our minds to slow to a more natural rhythm. Also it connects our species, being able to talk with others driving around. The need for faster vehicles is obvious but around a town or city one can save on fuel-money and enjoy a more relaxed state of mind on scooters, 50cc to 200cc or electric.

    I had a slight issue with the brake line too. Had to chuckle. I've had my g3+ about a week now. I use it all over the place. My scooter battery lasts up to about 22 miles. That's at max speed with cruise. I've taken it up hills and, the lowest speed was 15 mph.
    Granted, this is my first scooter but, I think it's of great quality and fun. The only downside is that the odometer doesn't say the mileage as you go. Also, no shocks. Besides that, I love it.

    That brake cable has 2 ridges on the end. You use a special tool to pull the cable into place. You can use a hammer, the nail puller side, to slide the ridges into and help pull the cable into place.

    With that said, you 2 did a good job with your video although you can't read. And please wear a helmet. Helmets are stupid looking but they will save your life. :)

  • @Spd868
    @Spd868 Před rokem +2

    Thoughts : The brake assembly pops in pretty easy but you need to really to pull the casing back. I'd be careful with the tension on the rear brake. I would not recommend tampering with the rear assembly like they did if you aren't mechanically inclined. Just find some big guy and he can pull it on. This video is very well done though. I love the fact it's tall enough for me and I'm 6'. I ride dirt bikes and never rode a scooter before so I am assuming I'll just crash the thing. Got it to ride scooters with my kids. It's a bit overkill for that function.

      Dude it was so simple I feel like they make this way more difficult than it had to be intentionally for bad reviews 😅 mine was super simple didn’t break or strip anything to get it together the inbox and assembly took no more than 6minutes lol

    • @Spd868
      @Spd868 Před rokem

      @rudewizard85 I had to get into it with my girlfriends the other day. If you don't have the tension right it won't release the cruise control. I found the sweet spot, but I didn't know until she almost smashed into a mailbox when it kept going under braking😆

    • @BellaBearVlogs
      @BellaBearVlogs  Před rokem +1

      I know this is a year later but: if you look at the instructions you insert the break cord before attaching the handle and you have no trouble at all. Be sure to connect cords together which are tucked in the shafts before installing the handle. I am considered elderly and a woman and I didn't have any trouble setting it up. Although I did ask my spouse to pull the break cord to insert because he has a stronger arm, no problem. Excellent reviews on this model scooter. Haven't got to try it out yet.

    I bought one today. I had one before but returned it. I had a swagtron and wasnt very happy with it. The pneumatic tires are a game changer. I wish it got more mileage. I didnt have any problems with the brake cable. However i did have a difficult time with the screws. The holes wouldnt line up. I had to angle the screw up to get it in there and then hammer it home. Im assuming there is a weather tight gasket on there to prevent moisture damage to the power cord. I will be trying it out this evening. You can hook up external batteries for these scooters. Check youtube for tutorials.

    The reason why you're only driving at 7mph is because you guys are maxing out the weight capacity. This scooter can only carry 220lbs, and it's not designed to carry 2 people. I ride mine up steep hills an my G3+ goes about 13-15mph and I only weigh 155lbs.

    • @BellaBearVlogs
      @BellaBearVlogs  Před rokem

      we realize that; however, we had tried out the lime scooters in nashville and they were capable of holding us both, even going up hills. we decided to return it and get an electric skateboard. casey is thinking of getting an electric scooter that is more powerful and capable of holding us both.

      So I did a little test with mine. I used my garmin watch to track me. So from my house to my job is 2.6 miles there and 2.6 back at 18mph. I had left the house with a full charge. By the time I got to work one bar was gone. Leaving work about halfway another bar was gone. By the time I got to the house, I had one bar left. Made me nervous cuz this thing gives no warnings when it dies. The mileage on this sucks. But it get me back and forth.

      May I ask why you returned the GoTraxG3?
      What did you dislike?
      And, also, how is the Meepo Shuffle?
      Why is it better than the GoTrax, looks like Meepo is a skateboard.

      I have the same exact one an got it the same time they did and drive it every day it has 241 miles on it and the rim gave out. Its made out of pot metal that happened 3 days ago i thought it had a hole in the tire but no I just keep refiling it every day then i saw the rim was bent then it broke. But I’m gonna see about the warranty and sometimes it doesn’t charge all the way to only 2 bars. And the brakes are already wearing out. Other then that it was good but I’m gonna get it fixed. And the the 18 miles on the box is a big lie most i have ever got was 6 and i was on flat straight ground l usually get 4 or 5 miles though. Hope this helps.

    Lol, yall aren't very mechanically inclined..just loosen up the clamp for the brake cable on the caliper and then you can install the cable in the guide for the lever. Biggest mistake people make it trying to stretch the cable in. I guess it should in the instructions, however scooting is more of a hobby and they are intended for people with some mechanical knowledge, since they ALL require maintenance in order for them to last... I'm not criticizing you though, just making a truthful statement.
