@@iflex1963 No . the edge was thinner.. I used Gorilla tape and re introduced the round cut out to the hole. the cut must be very flat and ribs must be removed . anyaway the vid was a help.
Found you .. tks.. I went this course also. My evapcore was literally carpeted with a felt of blocking junk. 6 years 100k miles. 3.5k$ to really replace. OH, my access hole you recommended was showing my leak there also. I did by those adjustable plugs size 12 Winterizing plugs that really fit back to the view holes. tks.
So I've gotta ask , where did you got the 2 in plugs from. You said you had a hell of a time finding them. Nice job BTW. That's exactly what I'm gonna be doing this Sat
I believe I am going to tackle this method you shown soon. Someone used a camera to the backside . In the video the plugs look different sizes.. Thanks.

You my new buddy just saved me and my son alot it work on our trucks, thank you, how about the radio display staying black? Thank again...
Nice video - but it would've been better if you had just pulled out the plugs to show the finished job.
Use the hole saw in reverse once the pilot guide bit goes through, it will be less grabby and easier to control.
Thanks for the info. My work truck ac is need of a cleaning. Your method seems to be the easiest and most convenient.
ford really screwed up not having cabin air filters
Would of liked to see them out, good view of what it looks like, thanks gonna tell this..
Thanks for making this video. It helped a bunch.
I hot-glued FrogzSkin material to the bottom of the cowling in front of the windshield. Not as good as a filter but better than stock.
Thank you for this video. Very helpful.
Thank you, especially for the link to the plugs
