@deliah - Andreas did the Start only for Charity. He had to finish at least one full IRONMAN Race to qualify for Kona. Challenge Roth ist not in the Ironman Series, so he had to do Regensburg. Time and Ranking were not relevant for him, he just had to finish the Race. A Sponsor payed a due for every athlete wo was faster than Andreas in this race.
Hey man your problem is not as uncommon as you think, I guess.I am pretty positive that in Ironmans there is an exception to banning snorkels for people with head/back injuries, would that help? By the way the timelimit is pretty generous (I think some have like ~17hours). Anyway, right attitude, keep it going! ;)
sehr schön dass der letzte nicht im hintergrund steht :) Veerdient genauso viel Respekt wie der erste :)
My heart was in my mouth that last minute before the start!
Damn those are some badass bikes.
Spettacolo!!!!

Then his Sponsor paid for me; passed him on the run! Sadly I missed a Sub 10 by seconds 😫
I don't understand what happened to Andreas during this Ironman, why did he arrive in such a late time ? What is written in German ?
@alco48 der brauchte halt nur noch für hawaii ankommen.
und der hat für jeden gespendet der vor ihm im Ziel war ist doch ne gute sache.
